If there was one arcade machine that was a dream of a teen Sharka to have a go at, it was this. The mighty (and costly!) SEGA R360, introduced in Japan in 1990 before making its way overseas a year later. 🔥🔥🔥

On the first demo disc for PlayStation, Demo Demo Volume 1, there's a demo for Ridge Racer that feels like a slightly wonky prototype (which it likely is!) with handling that feels different, missing engine sounds, and some different impact ones. Pretty neat stuff!
