Sure it’s mocked for its battery life and the screen doesn’t hold up in 2022. Game Gear is another example of SEGA doing something first; and too soon. It allowed gamers to take the full, uncompromised home console experience (Master System) on the go, decades before the Switch.

“There isn't a fighting game on Saturn better than PSX version.” I’m all for people having an opinion, but this is just patently false. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Every Capcom 2D fighter is inferior on PS1, even more so those which use the Saturn’s 4mb RAM expansion.

If someone buys a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga from a collector for $1000, Team Andromeda (now defunct) and SEGA see nothing from that sale. Everyone should have a chance to experience gaming’s history and heritage. Install those ODE’s and fill up those SD cards folks.

PS1/Saturn/N64 to Dreamcast was the most significant leap, far more so than PS2-3. Visual fidelity. 60Hz options in PAL games (people do not grasp how huge this was back then). Internet connectivity out the box. Online gaming on console. So, no. We can’t agree.

I see complaints about some games being a “rip off” because they “only” last 12-14 hours. Sega Rally takes me 3 minutes and 18 seconds to complete; and I’ve been playing it since January 1996. The first time you finish a game doesn’t need to be the last time.

This is definitely one of the more bizarre #SEGA arcade games I’ve tried and one that’ll feature on Vol.2 of “Lost in the Arcade” on The @SEGAGuys . Emergency Call Ambulance, where your patient deteriorates (and can even die!) if you drive poorly/hit other vehicles, etc. 😳

It’s still remarkable to see Half-Life running on #Dreamcast . When you consider that the game launched on PC the same month the Dreamcast launched in Japan, its an impressive feat. Shame it never seen an official release, despite all but being finished. #SEGA

You don’t care about SEGA, Colt … all you care about is the acquisition and adding another logo to the Xbox Game Studios thumbnail. The only time Xbox influencers mention SEGA is in relation to acquiring them. It’s greed and entitlement masquerading as fandom.
