My grandma's Armenian father & Cypriot Greek mother... Surviving the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman empire in 1915, her father escaped from Musa Dagh to Cyprus on a French boat. After 69 years, he & his wife were killed in their bed by Turks in 1974.

Baku has announced its plan to settle 140K Azerbaijanis in Nagorno-Karabakh until 2026. Evidently, they will settle Azerbaijanis in the houses of forcibly displaced Armenians and appropriate their property. Note that the maximum N of Azerbaijanis that ever lived in NK was 40K.

For those who think I am Diaspora: I was born & grown up in Armenia, and have lived more than half of my life in Armenia. I have only Armenian citizenship. I have traveled to 68 and lived in 12 countries for studies, work and tourism but I eventually always return to Armenia.
