May be in the minority here but... I didn't mind this subplot purely because it DID add to the story via the reveal of Rachel's fiance being part of G.U.N. By showing us that G.U.N. is part of the movie universe, it set up the third movie since G.U.N. plays a role in SA2

I think @MaxMittelman would be the perfect voice for Sonic. I can hear hints of each Ryan, Jason, and Roger in addition to his own personality. He really does bring out the “cool teen” persona. (Speaking of which, Max is the voice of Ryuji from Persona 5.)

Sonic Unleashed (2008) will always stand out to me as being the best animated Modern Sonic game in terms of non CGI cutscenes Just look at how much emotion Sonic has here. I wish we got this level of emotion (if not more ) in the newer games when it comes to cutscenes
