Every race has a 30' movement. Nearly every race has 120' darkvision. Orcs aren't tough anymore. And drow no longer have sunlight sensitively. Orcs, for some reason, are no longer tough. Imagine trying to sell this as a game without a well known trademarked name. Gray goo.

The Outpost was a fun fantasy show that had elves and magic. Nobody I know watched it or talked about. But it was one of the few shows that ended properly instead of being abruptly canceled. Also Jessica Green is very pretty.

There's very little to make these races distinct and interesting. Dragonborn get minimal breath weapon and can fly with ghost wings for a few minutes a day. Goliaths can grow "big" once per day. 90% of what makes races different is a fashion show.

Rifts Dimension Book 1: Wormwood is a "stand alone" setting that's connected to Rifts via magic but otherwise can be played as its own campaign with nothing but the Rifts general rules as a basis. There's far too much to go into here about how awesome and unique this setting is

In all my years of playing #TTRPGs I've heard plenty of stories about how players survived encounters through a combination of determination and lucky rolls. I've never heard the epic stories of "and we were about to die but the GM changed his mind and made the rolls not count"
