Ethan Bear is 23 and has played 92 NHL games. Caleb Jones is 23 and has played 63 games. There are going to be bumps in the road for both of them. This is one of them. It's part of learning the trade. They'll be back and they'll be fine.

There's no similarity, none, to the Bertuzzi-Moore incident. Joseph refused invitations to fight from Kassian and Khaira after hit on Russell. Lucic tracked him down, minutes, not days, later. Knocked him down, cuffed him once and pinned him. Could have hurt him. Chose not to.

As speculation about @EdmontonOilers interest in acquiring Patrick Kane continues and with @OilersNow all over it in opening segment today, I'm convinced it'll happen if Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl want it to happen. That's the bottom line.
