P.D. The genetic impact of Indo-Europeans in Iberia differed slightly from other parts of Europe. While they did contribute to the genetic makeup, their influence was less pronounced due to factors like geography and pre-existing populations, particularly in the south. (ahem...)

Elite woman of El Argar, with diadem placed upwards. There is no correct version, but the diadem seems to have a great symbolic weight. Perhaps placing it downwards symbolizes a moon setting, a symbol of the end of her reign, or a goblet turned upside down, when it's empty

I based this drawing on La Fumadora, a clay figure attributed to Cuica Indians of Venezuela's Trujillo State. Symbolically, it's linked to shamanism, as tobacco usually serves as a sacred tool for healing, communication, protection, and spiritual practices in Amazonian shamanism.

The El Argar culture was a Bronze Age civilization in the southeastern Iberian Peninsula from about 2300 to 1500 BCE., known for its advanced metallurgy and agriculture, hierarchical society with a ruling elite, and complex fortified hilltop settlements.
