From right to left:Joachim Murat, Pedro Velarde, and Manuela Malasaña. These are famous people related to the "Dos de Mayo Uprising," the day the Peninsular War started. You probably know who Murat is if you're into Napoleonic wars history, so I won't bother explaining who he was

Pedro Velarde was a Spanish army captain who realized that shit was going down, refused to join Murat, and instead fought besides the people of Madrid against who they perceived now as invaders instead of allies. (He died that day)
