Fuck's fucking sake of fuck. Labour have an excellent candidate fighting for every possible vote and the lad's actually in with a shot of defeating Sunak but hey LeTS MAKe PoLiTicS FUNNy!!!!
Genuinely don't know what new viewers will think is happening here. If you didn't know "companions" tend to leave after a year or two for other projects... why are they, the ultimate instant besties, tearfully saying goodbye because she's found her parents? He has a time machine!
@trevorbaxendale
The Labour candidate in that seat was on course to take it from Sunak and making history by unseating him. Now this twat in a silly costume is going to mop up a chunk of anti-Sunak votes and probably save him.
Nothing will ever come close to being mesmerised by a copy of

ńkowski's Haunted House at a school Book Fair, then getting a copy of my very own for my 7th birthday a few weeks later.
In Wales I got lost in a forest. I stumbled through brambles & found some massive stone ruins. Ancient, covered in moss & mist. When I finally found my way back to town I asked about them, but everyone said there were no ruins in those woods & maps showed no records of that place

brought out laughter and cheers, often simultaneously. A hearty No Not The Mind Probe from the audience. And a cyber "AH!" caused something close to massed rapture.
People who vibrantly self identify as being the type who "tell it like it is" will never, under any circumstances whatsoever, appreciate being told it like it is.
Someday soon, somebody in TV is going to have the completely innovative idea that you could produce drama far more efficiently if you got your cast to rehearse it as a play, then position multiple cameras around them all at once, maybe in some kind of purpose built 'TV Centre'...
The very best from

are GIFs where the captions are the setup and the punchline is really the reaction. Saru's final look here is priceless.
Clearing out the HDD box and found this repeat of Eccleston's appearance on Mastermind, 19-Mar-05, over a week before the papers broke the exclusive he was leaving... "It was an amazing 8 months" - he's not exactly subtle.
Shocked to learn that a number of middle aged men now feel doctor who no longer pleases them. We must take it off air for several years so they can be happy when it comes back again with 10m viewers every week because that's exactly how television works.
@RegretteRuane
Once it had taught me how to say "The spider has several trousers" in swedish, I knew all I needed. And at eurovision I was able to say spindeln har flera byxor to the locals to my heart's content.
Ok but does he appear as The 15th Doctor - a fictional character - here though? It's William Hartnell looking at him. Isn't he appearing as Ncuti Gatwa? My brain crashed at this moment in 2013, everyone else was upset about composting but I just... WHICH 'HIM' IS HE MEANT TO BE?
60 years on and the Doctor's legacy continues... ❤️❤️➕🟦
Here's the moment Ncuti Gatwa appears as the Fifteenth Doctor in a new 60th anniversary version of 'An Adventure in Space and Time'!

breaking news. "The Daleks" (aka The Dead Planet) – the very first Dalek serial from 1963/4 – has been COLOURISED, tightened into a 75min edit and has a new score created by

was properly hilarious, it's "Season 24 energy" (

WHAT CAN NOTHING IN THE WORLD DO...?
Bad form to self RT but this is all about Liz Sladen, getting quite emotional on a commentary, about the props people giving her her own TARDIS key when she left, recorded just two years before School Reunion...
I think there's something in my eye.
If you don't see this as a triumph, and I'm seeing some here don't, I'm genuinely sad for you. We're so far in excess of the best hopes of 2005, there's no comparable success story out there. Full speed ahead!
14 July 2020 is a milestone for Doctor Who fans. Rose (the episode) is as old now as Survival episode 3 was then.
As of today, Doctor Who has been back for longer than it was away.
@TonyTimes2
It's completely clear, but that's not an "end" - it's presented as if this situation obviously must mean a painful separation for them, when they could see each other next week, or next month. It relies on us already knowing "this is a companion exit scene".

Re-launching Dr Who, geared towards the American market, by having the old Doctor come back for a little while and encounter an old enemy, doing lots of lore. Interesting.

My partner & his mum are in Aberdeen. I sent him this clip as I was watching Underworld.
She asked him if it was a good story, he asked me, I said one of the worst, he told her, there was a long pause... then the reply "She says 'So, why on earth are you watching it then?'"
Just chiming in that I found the Doctor not having perfect words for Graham to be quite moving and very in-character for her persona - confident when declaring universal rights and wrongs, but awkward with the important personal stuff.
If you've laughed at any jokes on British TV in the past 60+ years there's a high probability at least one was written by
