Welcome the one and (currently^^) only #QAxe + ๐Ÿฅณ The plus is a QAxe variant with BM1368. Benchmarking results look nice, it runs on 2.4TH/s avg with 55W (measured on 230V). This is about 43,5GH/W. ๐Ÿš€ @osmu_global

48V power supply for the #0xAxe works! I'm using a passively cooled 48V GaN power supply with 5.5mm barrel jack on the output and it seems to be super efficient. Takes 22W less power (168W) than with my previous monster 5V/60A power supply for 7.2TH avg ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Thank you @osmu_global for the appreciation of my work and the generous donation! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿฅฐ Perfectly timed for the (many ๐Ÿฅด) ASICs for the #0xAxe . Everything I learned from the #Flex4Axe , #QAxe , ... went into this. Let's hope it works ๐ŸคžTarget is 7.2TH/s with 200W and TR4/SP3 cooler

Good cooling is everything! Noctua with two 140mm fans on the #0xAxe . Wow it keeps the ASICs at 37ยฐC @ 190W ๐Ÿคฏ Very nice uniform cooling what nicely balances the voltage domains! Looks perfect now ๐Ÿฅฐ Cooler is super expensive but worth the money ๐Ÿ˜‚

#Flex4Axe prototype using 4 #FlexAxe modules. Running at about 4.4Th/s (avg) with 170W (measured on power jack). But it has its problems, the biggest is the cooling why the ASIC clock had to be lowered ๐Ÿ™ˆ @osmu_global

Nice DIY case for the #Flex4Axe ๐Ÿฅด. Looks ugly but keeps the 16 Bitcoin mining ASICs below 50ยฐC. Runs at 7.2TH/s average with about 209W (measured on power jack). It's pretty clear now how the case will look like๐Ÿ‘Œ @osmu_global

#0xAxe update: The monster Noctua fan fits perfectly and keeps it at about 45ยฐC ๐Ÿฅณ Voltage balancing is not yet perfect, maybe there is some ASIC that needs resoldering, currently running at 7.5TH but I have to do a longer run to get the real average. @osmu_global

Puall91 is driving the #QAxe to 700MHz and 68W power, archiving 2.5TH/s average ๐Ÿคฏ That's already 215MHz higher than normal. ๐Ÿ˜ฎAnd he is not yet finished maxing out the QAxe. ๐Ÿซฃ His big low profile cooler keeps the ASICs at 34ยฐC and also cools the MOSFETs of the buck converter ๐Ÿ‘Œ

#0xAxe : improved dashboard with power and efficiency. This is close to what to expect from the 0xAxe. Also switched to a better cooler - Arctic ARCTIC Freezer 4U-M ๐Ÿคค Some side task, implemented REST API and some minimalistic web UI for manually tuning ASIC clocks on-the-fly.

#FlexAxe is a modular approach. This is the testing board with 1 FlexAxe. Like a Mini- #QAxe , about the size of the #bitaxe but with 4 ASICs and 1.5TH/s average (because the cooling s**ks๐Ÿ˜…). This board is only for testing purposes - something bigger is coming soon๐Ÿ˜‡

First attempt at building a 48V power board for the #0xAxe . If it works, you could use a single 5.5mm barrel jack power supply instead of having to use a bulky 5V/40A metal box PSU and another 12V PS. ๐Ÿคž I've added mounting holes for a 60mm fan in case the MOSFETs get too hot. ๐Ÿ™ˆ

it has some nice extra features, input current measurement, additional PWM for a 60mm fan, temperature sensing of the buck, provides all voltages needed on the 0xAxe (that means, 0xAxe has fewer components to assemble) and single power supply with 48V instead of 12V and 5V.

@btc_remnant The PCB with the cooler and the ASICs is a module. It's optimized for being as flexible as possible, allowing different options of operations. Like voltage-chaining, serial-chaining. You even could use it on a 5V Arduino on the serial interface.

@toruszero @skot9000 If you have a chain of BM1366 ASICs they encode in some bits of the nonce which ASIC found the nonce. This gets propagated with the nonce to the Stratum server and therefore into the block, so could see it on the blockchain explorer too. But this is manufacturer dependent.
