Verified. Thread. One of my close relatives' family landed in Colombo yesterday early morning for medical treatment and decided to return by a Van today morning. While returning they were stopped in several places by the protesters.

They were stopped in a few more places and at every stop, every group said Sorry and asked them to go safely. This family lost their ancestral home in the 95 Jaffna exodus and was treated inhumanely by the forces back in the days could not believe this event at all.

Just outside of Colombo they were stopped by a group of protesters. Group got to know that they are Tamils and returning home. Everyone in the group came forward and said "SORRY" and asked them to go safely. UNBELIEVABLE.

Another group stopped the van but allowed them to go. One of the guys secretly asked the driver saying they were on road for the last two days and asked for money and the driver gave a 500 note. Other guys spotted this and returned the money back and apologized.

2. We were out so ordered a meal for delivery. Had to choose a better option bcz Dad is sick. One meal cost is Rs 1004 per head. With delivery charges. 3. Dad was tired to bought tea, Vadai and Bun. Total cost Rs.350. Tea Rs.100 and a Vadai Rs.100. I skipped mine.
