With 2 of our national parks reverting to the Cymraeg only names, Eryri & Bannau Brycheiniog, isn't it also time to drop Anglesey & only use the original name Ynys Môn? Nearly 60% of the population of Ynys Môn are Cymraeg speakers, so this really shouldn't be an issue @cyngormon

It says a lot that our highest mountain in Cymru is know mostly by its English name, Snowdon - Yr Wyddfa. The next 24 highest peaks are only know by their enwau Cymraeg, but our highest is claimed & named in English. Funny that. It's Yr Wyddfa, in the area called Eryri. Diolch 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Ok @sainsburys , this is what I've learned. The use of 'neges' is correct for shopping in Gwynedd & Ynys Môn. 'Messages' it seems, is also commonly used in Scotland & parts of Ireland! But in south Wales, neges doesn't mean shopping, it just means message, which is a bit confusing

The Eisteddfod Genedlaethol is a Welsh language festival. It's the only national festival where all participants are required to use only Cymraeg on its stages. It's not unreasonable to expect all performers to perform in Cymraeg. English is available in many other events.

In a survey done by the BBC, pride in being English is felt more strongly by the older generation, and much less by young people. But in Wales, it's the other way round, a greater sense of pride in being Welsh amongst young people. Hope for the future! #IndyWales #YesCymru

My dad, now 88, had to do 2 years of national service in the RAF. He hated it. #conscription is just a right-wing gammon wet dream, instead of actually investing in training for young people, providing community youth activities, creative opportunities etc.

Was going to take the train from Cardiff to Edinburgh, in November. But, a return would cost around £180 & that's nearly 6 months in advance! A return flight from Bristol to Edinburgh is £70. That's why so many people decide not to use our over-inflated, poor rail system #railway
