I took my 9 year old son to @scrapleeds on Saturday. If you are a crafter, a maker, a tinkerer, a DIYer, a collector, a curator then you need to check out this fantastic little gem in Farsley. We bought cardboard tubes, foam, fabric, felts. There’s a huge refill shop in store too

Who remembers a trip up the 'smartie tube' to get into Leeds Shopping Plaza? 🤪 This Albion Street escalator was once an iconic part of shopping in town... now just a distant memory! It was demolished when work began on Trinity Leeds, which later opened in 2013 🛍️ Miss it? 👀

I was sceptical about cheering for the NHS. It seemed a bit virtue-signalling, performative. If you care about the NHS, vote accordingly, protest, campaign. But I was wrong Standing outside clapping and cheering, seeing so many neighbours do the same, was very moving
