Final bit of context on this. Tradition in the SA is clubs share a meal after games. Hosts provide free of charge. MetroStars had contacted City, who agreed to come along and even catered to dietary requirements. Post-game, they felt disrespected by fans booing, so they left.

Interesting to hear @Socceroos coach Graham Arnold having a crack about a lack of funding for his sport. I understand and respect his frustration. But in Australia sadly it’s always going to come 3rd behind @AFL @NRL Only at World Cups will it override the two indigenous codes.
