Our wheat is downgraded and in mud but my son sent this from Mullaley this afternoon. There is wheat and sorghum under that. There’s not even a major watercourse on that plain.
Done the obligatory drive around, no neighbours headers going so I think I’ll resume the foetal position. I guess the market for activated wheat is not that big.

Heat signatures from our “little”fire. It was all red and orange/yellow yesterday. First pic is 10pm not long after rain started and second is 6am. Still a hot spot west of Baan Baa but a great relief and hopefully more rain today.
Stepped out of the business in 2018 in the hope it would survive the drought and after 3 1/2 years managing farms at Bellata the boys can’t keep up so dad is back.

Keep your chin up. This is peak drought in 2019 in northern NSW Australia. First pic is rich black soil but dry for 3 years turned to powder and blew up to fence height. 3rd pic is failed chickpeas. Started to break 3 mths later for 3 wet years. It will turn
