Its not perfect, but here's an animation showing the internals of the M1337 running.
This speed is only showing about ~90 rounds/min, so quite a lot slower than the ~550 rounds/min average while hand cranking the gun at a good pace.
Build instructions and files for the revised version of this gun is almost complete and ready for release.
Overall the build is much simpler than HW4's original design, a full changelog of how they differ, which is quite a bit, will be in the instructions.
First Multi-Barrel test, little slow-mo video of it, the bench mount is rather wobbly, but otherwise it went pretty well. Went through about 20 rounds or so in total.
HW4 Mega Pistol - New revised and simplified version, now released on my Odysee ::
Here's a page from the new build guide for context- I take no credit for the actual design of this gun- I only hope that I've now fixed it, and made it properly buildable
Has anyone successfully built one of these? :: Megapistol -by Humphrey Whittingtonsworth IV.
Its a fantastic design, and I've been excited to finally have some time to try and make one, but I've noticed some issues, and was curious if anyone has ever made this work.
Still not entirely perfect, but it is running decently now. Weights and springs seem to be tuned right, only real hiccups are occasionally the next round feeding at a bad angle.
Some improvements with trying lighter springs. Put ~15 rounds through it, one at a time. The main spring still needs to be a little bit lighter still. Even with this setup though, it did fully cycle the action two or three times, though I wasn't able to film those shots
Unsure if anyone might be interested, but I've made some of the artwork related to the M1337 project available for purchase as prints (posters, canvas, metal prints, etc).
Some news on the RBC-9 Bolt. Good news is I think I've found a durable material to use for the shell- bad news is its 3D printed aluminum :/ . As for polymer shells, ToughPLA is still somehow the best out of PC/ToughPC/CFNylon/PCTG/ASA. Also tried 3dP steel, but was too heavy
It would seem PCTG is not a suitable material for an RBC-9 Bolt shell. Broke apart completely on the second round. The usual bolt shell printed in Inland ToughPLA held up fine to remainder of the day at the range.
Big thanks to user Alpharius over on Element- He put together a .step file for the Barrel Collar of the M1337, to make adjusting the barrel hole sizes easier.
Additionally he also made a railed grip frame piece to be able to mount an optic.
Both files are up on my Odysee
@Stubbs_GunGuy
More or less yes lol, although I hadn't seen said shitpost lol. The bolt carriers are printed though and the bolts have to be chopped up a bit to fit and work correctly
After working on it all day, I have finished the alpha file package for the project 17 Malachit suppressor for the M1337 by
@Nopel_0
. Deets in the replies. Files sailing now.
@CrixCoTM
Total build cost is roughly $1,000. People finding the large ball bearing on Aliexpress for 1/5th the typical price was pretty huge, so can easily be cheaper than 1k if hitting sales or good deals for the barrels and bolts
The Crank Wheel model has an issue where there's a small (0.005 in.) gap present which could cause issues with printing this part
Alpharius over on Element/Matrix brought this to my attention, and took the time to correct the model - very based.
Slowmo from initial test fire of the revisions to HW4's Megapistol. Quite a number of changes from the original files.
This recoil spring was too strong (I tried using a different one from the recommended spring). Also the FTEs were caused by a small burr in the chamber.
@romanov13649
Still just 556 for this test, but now that I know the couple changes I made seem to be working well, I can move on to assembling the 300blk barrels
Some brief footage from a few recent range trips
Ejection seems more consistent
Tried out a new striker setup, using an aluminum Striker body, in addition to a slightly stronger spring. This seems to have effectively eliminated light strikes.

@DissidentRexy
Aye man. Naw I've just been working on stuff myself, and posting progress around in places. I think I prefer to do things in that manner, but I do appreciate the offer
@Whocsr1
Someone on weaponsguild I believe uploaded a copy. I have the original files I downloaded forever ago. I'm gonna try to remedy some things with the design and put together some build instructions for it. This build deserves to have people building it
By request here's the full version of the song used in the trailer. Its not a whole lot different but it is a bit longer.
Can be downloaded from the Odysee link, click the ... button under the video to find the download option
For anyone that hasn't seen, there's a thread going just checking in on everyone's progress for those who have attempted building the RBC-9 beta. If anyone has something to add to the thread please do, or even post here on twitter
@puhcko
Tryin to have a build guide put together for it soon. It's an incredibly easy build, can be done in a day if you have all the materials on hand.
@YoungBreezyMoob
He released it for about 4 months on his own website roughly ~2 years ago, along with like one paragraph of instructions lol. Not to make a dig at the guy or anything, his gun and video of it is essentially the only reason I ever started the RBC9 design
@RShcklfrd
Yeah I think I've cut the ejector springs too short. If they're left as standard length it makes it unnecessarily hard to feed, so they need to be cut down some.
Also I was asked how the little knob attaches to the main assembly screw, and I realized I entirely forgot to include that in the directions. There's an empty spot in the page where it was supposed to go lol. But anyhow, its just JB-Welded to the screw head
@avtailor
It seems he did, I've chatted briefly with him on YouTube, to ask him some questions about his version of the build, but he hasn't always responded
@bestregards_jon
@BrokenBulletz
At some point I'll upload the stl for a blank fire control group frame to let others have a go at coming up with different variations on the trigger group
@LucasBotkin
@palmettoarmory
You should ask them why their shipping restrictions are so outrageous compared to almost any other firearms or adjacent company
@TheBulletshogun
@guttercheese
I've got most of the parts for a 7.5 in. 300 blk barrel cluster, just haven't got it all put together quite yet, but it would look a bit snub-nosed like this
@n0wayyy_no
@littlebroiswat1
@WarPath2pt0
Its around 1,000 in total, biggest cost is the main large ball bearing for the barrels (250-300ish), aside from that, buying six of everything do get pricey on its own.
@palmettoarmory
@cptjoz
If that were true you would have no issue sending me a damn cassette trigger. But alas you're happy to make up non existing laws
Bugfix for RBC-9 Two Piece Receiver ::
Reported printing issues with the Two Piece Receiver on an Ender 3, around the edge of the print. The code, "M211 S0; disable end stops" must be placed underneath "home all axes" in the start-code of the printer profile to fix the issue
@DrDeath1776
@DissidentRexy
Thanks man, it shouldn't really be too much more work to get it all finished up, really the biggest hurdle left is the tripod lol
@ExTerMINater267
Its not my design, I've just tweaked the files quite a lot to try and get it to a consistent build. But the whole thing generally would need to be redesigned to use the longer .22lr cartridge
@glorymebloodbag
I'd have to look at it a bit more to be sure, but I think if every part that isn't symmetrical were mirrored the other way then it should(?) work I think.
@AGCast4
I've had this same issue with my x1c, as others said disabling the auxiliary fan made the biggest difference but didn't entirely help, neither did leaving the door open.
I bought a glass build plate off Etsy, and its overkill but it works great for long flat parts
@palmettoarmory
@cptjoz
Mate I know you're being funny here but your shipment restrictions need a serious revision, and nobody in your company takes it seriously
@jjreeves
@n0wayyy_no
@KilloryHlinton
I had one person send me a video of theirs having an out of battery (was using a non-standard piece in the strikers which was cool, but likely caused it) and it failed very safely, only blew out the safety, and the door which gives access to the bolts. Internals were damaged tho
