I have some exciting news to share! Iβm running for Houston City Council, At Large 2! As a small business owner and community advocate, I have always been proud to call Houston my home! By working together, we can build a Houston that is the heart of innovation & better for all.
Tuesday was a huge day for our campaign. Because of your support, volunteer hours, and donations, we have made it to the runoff.
The final status of this race will be decided in early December. Over the coming weeks, I will post more about what that entails.
Today, I filed to run for Houston City Council because I believe our city is worth fighting for. As a lifelong Houstonian, I am running to represent my friends and neighbors at City Hall so we can improve public safety and make real investments in our city's infrastructure.
Beautiful day for a bike ride! Thanks Sanjay Bapat (

I hope Robert Gallegos runs for office again. He is a kind and gentle, yet strong and brave, person, and has served his constituents very well the past decade. Houston has been made stronger by his contributions.

My only tip for folks running office:
If it ainβt rooted in service and love for the peopleβ¦π£WE DONβT WANT IT.
There is too much at stake to run for personal gain or ego. Our lives are in the line. Public servants must be fueled by love and service.
.
@AbbieKamin

You can help us get it to as many voters as possible by donating to my campaign at the link in my bio!

I am blown away by the outpouring of support y'all have shown my campaign for Houston City Council. Because of your generous donations we are a hair short of raising $100,000 since the beginning of my campaign. My team tells me we are now only $6,248 away from meeting our goal.
In order for us to get stuff done, we have to have good folks on City Council to make sure all levels of government can work together. With so many federal dollars coming, we have to get this right!
Write this list down and take it to the polls β letβs move this city forward!
