We are in a good place now and look forward to bringing the community along for this huge occasion. Latinos have been making contributions to our city, we are part of the fabric and we belong. Our history is Houston's history.
For years, a Latino archive center was talked about.
Now that it has a building, the Hispanic History Research Center, dedicated to archiving the rich history of the Hispanic and Latino community, has finally gained traction.
My weekend was a bit of work, wife, kiddos and me time! I'm working on this thing called life balance. It can be difficult at times, but when you are purposeful with what's important, you can't lose.
