Stanfordโs best insider with a big hint about the next wave of realignment. This account has been spot on about everything and is now suggesting (something Iโve heard through DMs) that Stanford and the leprechaun are moving together

The Stanford Band and their shenanigans are good for college football. Not everyone has to conform to the same tradition, sometimes itโs fun to have college traditions that are bohemian
Read FSUโs complaint, talk about a whole lot of posturing with no substance. This reads like a whiny newspaper opinion, not a federal court filing. Argument is essentially โwahhh we signed a bad contract that doesnโt benefit us any more.โ
Hereโs a copy of Florida Stateโs lawsuit. 38 pages worth
Florida State University Board of Trustees v. Atlantic Coast Conference. FSU opens as a 3-point favorite
I find it interesting these arguments are almost always targeted at Cal. Why not Rutgers, Maryland, USC, UCLA, Washington, or Oregon? No one complained when USC decided to join a conference with teams in NJ or PA. Cal and Stanford did what they did to survive.
Whoop there it is! Canโt make any actual argument so resort to ad hominem attacks. Iโm actually just happy the FSU fan was able to spell it correctly. Thatโs a big word for that fan base.
Andrew Luck in Maples Pavilion for the Stanford game tonight as Tara VanDerveer is 10 minutes from matching Coach K for the most college basketball wins of all time.
"She's a titan," Luck told me at halftime.

Congrats to Cal on a really strong hire. Just like Stanford, the new president is an alum, economist, and lead the business school, but most importantly is a fan of Cal football. Both schools appear refocused on football, which is great for future alignment purposes!
Not a single one of these FSU fans ever touched a football field after junior high school and they go after a guy who played college football at Stanford? Interesting choice!
Stanford alumni, including San Fransisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, visited MUS today and took some time to talk to Stanford football signee Brandon Nicholson โ24!

Stanford lost 2 WR recruits to Syracuse and Miss State. Over the past 20 years, 7 Stanford WRs have been drafted in the NFL. Over that same time period, Syracuse and Miss State COMBINED for 3 WRs drafted. Smart players play at the next level and a Stan degree lasts a lifetime ๐ฒ
Stupid take. U$C has and will always be soft as butter. Stanfordโs power formations are historic. Didnโt even need WRs. Just run it down their throats until they break.
USC is the only west coast program in my lifetime that dominated. West coast programs have flashy offenses & soft ass defenses. West coast kids are incredible QBs,WRs,RBs,DBs. But OL,DL,LB? That aint what they do. Boys over there eating quinoa instead of grits & thats the problem
Congratulations to Cal on the victory. While I still hate everything about the school, we have to stick together because the next 10 years will be turbulent for both football programs.
Guess which two universities have the biggest say in AAU accreditation amongst P5 football schools? Iโll give you a hint, itโs the two schools FSU trashed in its complaint. Stanford administration remembers
BREAKING: There are more than enough
#B1G
schools that will vote no on

and

, as AAU accreditation matters greatly to over two-thirds of the membership.
FONG BOMB FOR STANFORD ๐ฒ
Stanford predicted to land 4 โญ๏ธ WR JonAnthony Hall who visited the same weekend as 5 โญ๏ธ Andrew Babalola who is also predicted to Stanford. This staff is cooking
Iโll be the first one to rip on Cal but I am really impressed by the determination of their softball girls to win this game. These umps should be investigated and banned from working another game. Embarrassing.
@wilnerhotline
Wait why is this a bad thing for Cal? They are playing two of the preeminent football brands in the country. Itโs great exposure for their brand to a region not usually watching Cal games. It couldnโt have worked out better for them. Compared to OSU playing Utah state.
Incredible stat: The Pac-12 did not have even one team ranked No. 1 for even one week since Week 12 2012. Oregon spent one week at 1 and promptly lost to Stanford. No team spent even one week at No. 2 since Oregon in 2014.
The Stanford Band and their shenanigans are good for college football. Not everyone has to conform to the same tradition, sometimes itโs fun to have college traditions that are bohemian
On behalf of myself and Hannah, we want to thank every single member of the Cal community for your unconditional love and support this year. We have felt welcomed and embraced. Gratitude would be an understatement. We love Cal and the Bay Area. We are excited and fully
Every once in a while Stanford recruits a player where you shake your head at why D1 teams arenโt knocking down the door for the kid. I think
@marcusbrown_9
has an opportunity to be great at Stanford. Not the biggest dude, but has some serious ball skills. ๐ฒ

I know these are rough times for Stanford but the fact that we got to watch CMC drop his nuts on U$C in the PAC-12 Championship and then again on Iowa in the Rose Bowl is worth all of this. Cal, U$C, and UCLA combined for 1 PAC-12 title. Stanford had 3 ๐ what a run itโs been.
Combined, UCLA and USC have:
โข 9-9 conference record this year
โข 1 Pac-12 CCG win ever
โข 0 CFP appearances
The worst Pac-12 team beat the defending national runner up. Voluntarily self-relegating to a weaker conference is never easy, but is their only path to relevance.
Lived in Amarillo for a while and went to multiple TT games. Place was consistently empty against anyone not named Texas OU or Top 25. Did see them upset WV when Geno Smith was playing which was fun but besides that TT struggles with attendance just as much as Stanford does.
It actually makes me sad that programs like Cal, Stanford and SMU all canโt even halfway fill their stadiums and get the ACC invite. Meanwhile Wazzu and OSU can fill their stadiums to full capacity in almost negative degree temperatures:
Elijah Brown finished his high school career completing 18 of 23 passes for 310 yards and 4 TDs in a dominant 35-0 win over Serra (San Mateo) in the CIF Open Division state championship.
He went 42-2 during his career and is the only Mater Dei QB to win multiple state titles.
One thing I do want point out is this will be the first full year with the new strength and conditioning staff. One of the main reasons Iโm picking Stanford to overachieve this season is a completely revamped weight training program.
Stanford is already getting a significant number of nationally broadcast games compared to playing in the PAC. As of today, they are:
TCU on ESPN
Syracuse on ESPN
Notre Dame on NBC
SJSU on CBS
Good chance VT, Clemson and Louisville also get ESPN/ABC as well.
We know you wanted more kickoff times ๐
Sept. 7 vs. Cal Poly - 4 pm PT (ACCNX)
Sept. 20 at Syracuse - 4:30 pm PT (

)
Nov. 29 at San Jose State - 1 pm PT (

People screaming Rooney Rule (LA interviewed multiple POC for the job) is a great example of internalized racism in football. David Shaw is as accomplished of a college coach as any, he absolutely deserves and has earned a right to be interviewed for a head coach position.
lol I respect the troll. ACC is tiers below competing in the PAC-12. This is going to be fun. Stanford lost 15 starters last year (2 of which are starting for Michigan in the natty title game) and still nearly knocked of UW. Addling a Top 25 recruiting class. Canโt wait

Stanford NIL offered +$350k which would have made Canady the highest paid womenโs athlete over Brink (which is absurd because Brink is 3x as valuable). Just glad itโs not OK or UT.
Enjoy Lubbock. As someone who used to live in Amarillo, I wouldnโt wish that on my worst enemy.
Daily reminder than unlike 99% of college athletics, Stanford is an international brand that carries prestige in every corner of the globe. Doesnโt matter where you go, Stanford, Harvard, Yale and Princeton resonate in people.
Stanford lands 4 โญ๏ธ WR from Indiana. If Elic Ayomanor goes 1st/2nd round, Stanford will have developed one of the best NFL WR receiver pipelines in college football.
Oregon State people are so mad we didnโt want to drop down to G5 with them. Also Stanford has over a billion dollar ATHLETIC endowment. Itโs larger than OSUโs entire school endowment. Money isnโt a problem for Stanford. Enjoy irrelevance
Again, I ask: how do the Stanford/Cal suits look in the mirror and say moving to the ACC makes fiscal sense?
Cal/Stan have reputations for academic brilliance. Unless they have donors willing to underwrite the losses, this ranks No. 1 among stupid conference realignment moves.
First, I would like to thank the University of Florida for the NIL opportunity however, after receiving a full scholarship to UC Berkeley. I am decommitting from UF and Iโm fully committed to the University of California, Berkeley.

Lubbock is the only place that made me happy to be back in Amarillo. Such a depressing place, no wonder their fan base thinks about California all the time.
Stanford comes in as the

university in the world behind MIT and front of the University of Oxford. There is nowhere else on earth to get big-time football and the best academics ๐ฒ
Absolutely love what
@RyanDeatrick
is doing for Stanfordโs S&C program. Need to get back to the Party in the Backfield and Tunnel Union Workers mentality. Starts in the weight room.
UPDATE: We can confirm that Coach Taylor DID turn down the interview request for the UCLA opening.
We commend Coach Taylor for staying at the Farm and keeping his commitment.

Stanfordโs media team going crazy with these edits ๐ฅ also talk about first class accommodations for the OVs. No CFB team is doing it better than this staff
Bryce Love won the Doak as the best RB in college football, a Heisman runner up and is now crushing it in his post-football career. This is why Stanford is different, dominant on the football field and set yourself up for the next stages of life
@StanfordFball
fans remember
@Blovee_20
for his electrifying speed and knack for the big play. But now the former Doak Walker Award winner is pursuing his passions off the field, embodying the true meaning of a Stanford man.
Losing 15 starters, getting no help in the portal, and then nearly knocking off Washington deserves a little more than a C-. Sac State loss was bad, but Taylor did what he could with what he had. Every other coach in here could pull from the portal
A few thoughts on last night: Good always wins out, no matter how bleak it looks. When coach Taylor got hired, he told everyone to stay and believe; Coach prime told everyone to leave. We are program builders; they are mercenaries. I believe in Stanford football; you should too.
@HoodxBear
100% my college roommate was from Dallas and we went to SMU to visit one of his friends and Iโve never seen girls like that in my life ๐ฅต and itโs a gorgeous campus

Washington fans freaking out over like 8 guys is hysterical. Stanford lost 25 players, 17 of which were starters after Shaw left, 2 who won a Natty with Michigan. Everyone ripped on Stanford for being awful, so I donโt have a bunch of empathy for UW. Welcome to the portal world
LFG!!! Stanford is finally taking steps to improve its revenue sports on the menโs side. Troy Taylor and Kyle Smith are wonderful back to back hires by Muir. Good steps as Stanford enters the ACC
BREAKING: Stanford has agreed to a deal with Washington State head coach Kyle Smith, sources told
@TheFieldOf68
.
Smith has won everywhere heโs been โ at difficult spots. Columbia, San Francisco and taking Washington State to the NCAA tourney this season.
This might be right. B1G presidents want Stanford and Cal, simply for the research money alone. FSU and Clemson as bait for TV ratings and Cal and Stanford for academic offset makes a lot of senseโฆ
Plus it grabs the final rival of ND.
I truly believe the Big Ten put Stanford and Cal on layaway in the ACC until they get the high profile teams. Once that happens, I think they will be added to give them 6 teams out west. And completing a 24 team Big Ten.
