So Liz Cheney – not Bernie Sanders, not MSNBC – in her interview with Jake Tapper, suggested that Trump's leaking of top-secret intelligence may be a factor in the current world troubles. Chew on that for awhile.

Of course, they make sure to maintain plausible deniability--crime is old hat for the Trump people.

I'm sorry if the music was too loud. I will make an effort to keep it down. Thanks for the Bible, but I tried to read it once, and found it a very confusing, overly violent and ultimately boring work of fiction.

It's also a sad indictment of the tens of millions of Americans who think this soulless, immoral criminal should be the most powerful person in the world.
@UROCKlive1
Uh oh. My lawyer friend always told me:
If you're innocent, try for a bench trial; if guilty, insist on a jury trial--and hire a good attorney. Juries are notoriously easy to snow (see Simpson, OJ).

Only elements were wrong--and it was always understood to be a quick and dirty background paper. Trump clearly has colluded and is colluding with the Russkies. His kids have said it out loud.

I recently called the UHC nurse line. Waited on hold forever then was disconnected. All these companies suck, although I’ve heard decent things about N. California Kaiser. We need national healthcare, with the folks in charge answering to the voters, not the shareholders.
@lisa_liberal
Also, because the Steele Dossier was not perfect (it was never meant to be--it was essentially a rough draft), Trumpers dismiss everything in itas inaccurate. There's actually quite a bit in there that is damming.

Gas furnaces have electric start and then you need to power the blower. A decent small generator is your best bet ($1,000-$2,000) but you have to decide if it’s worth it for such an uncommon event. Main thing is keep your pipes from freezing— and bundle up. Good luck.

Please, people, don't post things like this unless you have a link or some details, or something. It's irresponsible. I can't find anything about this in the news.

"Deja vu all over again"
is ascribed to Yogi Berra, and when people use it, they may be just alluding to that. He was a great guy. I knew him as child. He did have a funny way of speaking, however. As with Twain, half the things attributed to him are probably made up.
@JRubinBlogger
Also, the Trumpers have it exactly backwards (no surprise): Law enforcement hasn't been unfairly tough on Trump, they've been unfairly *lenient*.
@ProjectLincoln
Y'all are going to somehow have to figure out a way to start a new conservative party. The Republican brand is odious, and I expect it is never going to recover.

I always assumed that if I even threw a rock through a window at the Capitol, or any US government building, highly trained soldiers with Uzis would appear out of nowhere and tackle me. Imagine if Al-Qaeda decides to just roll a truck up, and attack en masse. Has this been fixed?

@simongerman600
Ah, Bruce, lad, you have an awful lot to learn, and you’re not going to learn it hanging out with only folks who are like you. Believe me.

I’m not understanding why we did not get them out before we left, instead of thinking about it after we have mostly left. Any fool should have known the Taliban would take over quickly. In any case, it was correct to leave. The collapse of the Afghan government proves that.
@AndrewYang

Yes, poor Nixon! Those tapes of him clearly obstructing justice were all faked by the deep state, I'm sure. It makes all the sense in the world.
@jimstewartson
Well said. Capitalism works okay when regulated with vigor; let loose it is catastrophic, as we are seeing. Even more depressing is that there are so many people who don't realize what's going on.
@Abel10Todd
@collie_plus_8
You skells just call RINO every time another Republican disagrees with you. And I'm quite sure that you all know Donald Trump is an immoral criminal, and a piece of shit as a human being. You just support him to "own the libs". Quite pathetic.
@LilyinIndiana
I agree with all of that. I do think that the charge that he traded or sold national security secrets to our enemies needs to be supported with muscular evidence.
@smc429
Anyone who treats service people, including waiters, FedEx drivers, construction workers, etc., poorly, is an asshole. I've dumped acquaintances for simply not saying thank you to waiters. This behavior an excellent indicator of bad character. There's no excuse for it.
@mcspocky
Trump signing a document saying he will not commit any other crimes is like me signing a document saying that I won't drink any water for the next week.

In a normal world, Trump would have been in prison long ago, and would still be there. The man is a rank criminal. There’s simply no way around that.
@SarahHall1975
@GaDeb5
Yes, but it's about the biggest charge possible. 100% treason. I wouldn't be surprised if it is true, but charges like this need muscular, multi sourced evidence. The fact that Cheney mentioned it is meaningful.
@AngelliAngelo
She wasn't very specific, as I remember. I was just surprised to hear this come from her. It is a serious charge that requires serious evidence. But it *is* clear The Criminal has been extremely careless with top-secret info, at the very least.

Thomas is another one who was not particularly qualified. Plus, like Kavanaugh, he’s a perjurer, and perjury when testifying before Congress is a felony. So we’ve got two felons and a woman who’s nowhere near qualified, courtesy of the Republicans.
@GrandpaDennisP
Supreme Court Justice life terms, the electoral college, the way the Senate is chosen (with low-population Wyoming getting the same number of Senators as California) all are abhorrent and anti-democratic. They can all only be changed by Constitutional amendment, unfortunately.
"What’s going on in the country that a single person thinks this guy would still be a good president when he’s said the things he’s said and done the things he’s done? It’s beyond my comprehension he has the support he has.”

@tomiahonen
I think a good attorney could have convinced a jury to award far more than 3/4 of $1 billion. Punitive damages, stemming from the enormity of what Fox was trying to do vis-à-vis destroying democracy. They should've taking the case to trial.
Was harassed by a trucker in Oregon this weekend, and the only thing I can figure is he identified my gal and me as “libs” because we drove a Japanese car with California plates and had a dog in the back. This is the Trumper mentality, and it’s a huge danger to our country. Vote!
I'm a little behind but just listened to last week's Bill Maher, & more utter bullshit re Covid: "People died WITH Covid, not FROM Covid". Nonsense. One million died FROM Covid, you fucking wanker. Maher's not an idiot, but he's utterly off base here. Covid's extremely dangerous.

Trump is plainly an immoral, soulless criminal. Consider who opposes him:
John Bolton, Mike Pompeo, General John Kelly, Mark Esper, Chris Christie, Mike Pence, General Mark Milley, Joe Walsh, Rick Wilson, Bill Kristol, General Jim Mattis, Liz Cheney, Dick Cheney, etc.
@kathygriffin
Meghan, we would never have needed barbed wire and guards had the miserable Repubs not chosen an immoral criminal as their standard bearer in 2016.
They asked him to stop firing his AR-15 in his front yard, so he killed most of their family. Welcome to Repubworld:

Indeed. Let's keep reminding people that Wyoming, Alaska, Vermont, North Dakota and South Dakota have 10 votes in the US Senate, with less combined population than greater Los Angeles.
