Now would be the worst time to give up on Tellez sadly. It can’t be this terrible much longer, statistically speaking. Rowdy will stabilize back to his low .700s OPS self. Even getting to a .600 OPS will take a hot streak. Which will come. No use in dumping him at his lowest low.

Paul Skenes has a 1.6 fWAR through 52.1 innings. That’s about a 6 fWAR pace over 200 innings. (Although I’d guess he has about 80 more innings left in the tank this season) But man oh man. He just turned 22 years old and he’s already a top five starter in the sport.

Paul Skenes and Jared Jones combine for 300 strike outs. This one will be heavily reliant on workload, but if each can stay healthy (knock on wood) and perhaps throw 120ish innings a piece, I think they can reach that mark.
