I didn’t believe this when I first saw it but it’s actually, unbelievably true. BC’s NDP govt says we shouldn’t use the term ‘British Columbians’ because it is ‘exclusionary.’ People are living on streets & dying on waitlists and the NDP is spending our taxes on this nonsense.

THIS is where identity politics was always going to lead us and why I’ve opposed it for years. When a government report lists ethnic background instead of credentials & divides contributors based on unequal claims to the land they live on, it should send a chill down your spine.

The NDP’s nice-sounding ‘Anti-Racism Act’ seeks to further entrench a radical ideology that will only divide us. I dove into the Act & supporting docs, and what I found actually shocked me. My thoughts, published this morning in ⁦ @TheHubCanada ⁩:

This is horrendously misleading. The NDP have promised buses, not skytrain and Ma has personally opposed a new bridge (her colleagues made a vague ‘sometime in the future’ commitment). Unless she’s changed her mind & now supports IMMEDIATE action on a new bridge & skytrain?

One of the many reasons @voteBCUnited ’s plan for the biggest tax cut in BC history makes sense. Not only will it let folks keep more of their own $ during an affordability crunch, it’ll also force the NDP’s largesse (which has achieved the worst results ever!) to be reeled in.
