@Cluffalo People really don't like it when you wreck their pity parties, do they? The first step these people need is to take some accountability. Being short (or ugly) isn't even much of an obstacle unless you use it as a scapegoat for all your problems.

@BishopJaxi I mean, it's essentially correct. They really want Catholics to claim we're justified through works, but that's heresy. Only God's grace saves. But faith without works is dead because merely accepting Christ intellectually is not true faith.

@InspiringPhilos The issue I have with it is that it's changing the specific instructions Christ gave us. He could've said water if He cared about alcohol, but He didn't. It's best for us to adhere to His words as accurately as possible.

@Cluffalo That's why I think there's a crisis of self-respect. The RP complains that women think too highly of themselves, but I actually think it's the opposite. Most young women put up with stuff that women even 20 years ago would never have entertained.

Some people got upset when I said that Islam is not a sister religion. These are just 2 examples of Islam saying just that. There's many, many more verses I can pull. Why should we treat them as a sister religion when they're very clear that we are "the worst of creatures"?
