Only the responsible owners will comply with the law. The ones who are causing the problems with xls dont care enough to adhere to the rules so the whole thing is a waste of time & very cruel 😔
Ghost is home. No charges. What a complete waste of time & taxpayers money causing unnecessary suffering for his family.

🎉 GHOST IS HOME 🎉
Friday good news, Ghost, who was seized in a Leicester shopping centre, following an alleged incident with a security guard, has been returned home today.
All charges have been dropped by the police.
Welcome home Ghost ❤️
@soph_atkk
Its the breeding/owning that needs legislation. Anyone can breed unlimited nos of any breed of dog and anyone can buy them without any checks. I have a rescue xl bullie & he is a gem. I had to fill all the rescue criteria and also have a home check
@danwootton
Leave her alone. The press need to remember what happened to Diana. The way you treat her is appalling & unfortunately some people believe what you write.
@dotslondon
@chafer_sarah
looks like you were right about this dog. She can't have been very dangerous if she's back with her owner in less than a week.
@CrimeLdn
Funny how everything is a 'thought to be an xl bully' when it suits the press. It takes the police months to ascertain a dogs type but Mrs Jenkins from down the road can spot an xl from 600yards away 😂
@AdoptionsUk
@SkyNews
It’s wrong that people are allowed to import dogs with cropped ears. This then makes people go ‘underground’ to get theirs done to look the same
Coming to a neighbourhood near you soon. The Mollosso Presa Mayo. Bull terrier/boerboel/neopolitan mastiff. Notice the shape of the head from the bull terrier. This very cleverly makes it not type under any of Defras 'banned breeds'. This is why bans DO NOT work.

Heartbreaking 💔 There are thousands of ‘Coconuts’ who have lost their lives to this ban. All of them innocent and killed for the way they look 🥲
All through this fight I have advocated for legislation of backyard breeders, bringing in dog licences and making the purchasing and giving away of dogs online illegal. Imagine after all these months of abuse and being told by every ‘bullywatcher’ that these ideas wont work. ⬇️
@MichelleDewbs
The issue is that there is no legislation for breeders or owners. You have to have a home check to apopt a rescue dog but anyone can buy any breed of puppy without any checks 🤷🏻♀️
@Dr_Dan_1
@CommonsEFRA
@DefraGovUK
The type defra has published encompasses almost every large breed and their crosses. People need to stand up and fight it.
@BullyWatchUK
You’ve sentenced all these dogs to death so don't come now with the we’d be happy for them to rehomed bollocks. You wanted them rounded up & shot in the head. We wont forget.
@Dr_Dan_1
@PETAUK
I had just got a staffy when all of that kicked off which is how i learned about bsl. The headlines we see today about xls are those used about staffs ‘type’ ‘suspected’ ‘devil dog’. Then when the press gave up the public forgot about it overnight 🤷🏻♀️ press manipulation to a T
@DefraGovUK
See you at the judicial review
@DefraGovUK
This attack on ALL large breeds dogs will NEVER be forgotten nor will all the innocent animals sentenced to death by this legislation. Absolutely disgusting
@TheEconomist
Absolute crock of shit from
@theeconomist
🤦♀️ Until there is a licensing system, education and legislation of breeding dogs of all breeds then dog bites and attacks will continue. At what point will humans be held responsible for the issues they cause??
@SteveBarclay
@DefraGovUK
When are you going to discuss the absolute shambles of the xl bully ban/bsl? I believe our barrister is still waiting for a response 👀👀
@DefraGovUK
@DefraGovUK
spend £70k of taxpayers money on social media ‘adverts’ for their dog cull. Forever to be remembered as the people that mass murdered dogs & puppies. Absolutely disgusting.
@DefraGovUK
So how does a piece of paper make owners more responsible and breeders more regulated? Oh that's right it doesn't. This govt is completely incompetent. I've also noticed this news has been very timely announced to try and divert attention from the covid enquiry
@TalkTV
@Iromg
They are being too harsh on responsible owners. They need to legislate against back yard breeders & irresponsible owners. Everyone thinks all we have to do is muzzle our dogs but that is not the case. Once exempt, they have a contingent destruction order over them for life.
@imLucyWatson
I saw the instagram you directed us to yesterday and was heartbroken to see the way animals were treated (the cow with her legs broken still fighting for her life 💔). I think people dont want to see the reality because it’s easier not to 😞
@Schofe
@itvthismorning
@58mbr
The people who support the ban caused the death of Kilo. The collie was uninjured & yet people felt they had the right to beat Kilo almost to death, sit on him for 10 minutes & then shoot him. The cruelty these dogs are enduring because of the ban is absolutely abhorent.
@dontbanlicence
Can you imagine the police trying to figure it out?! On top of the govt believing there’s only 10k of them in the country. It’s such a mess
@58mbr
I think what you will find is that people are offering answers & help to the posters questions. That's how kindness works. Maybe you should try it?
@Ginds79
@HopeRescue
@APDAWG1
@DefraGovUK
are too lazy to make any alteration to the legislation for the welfare of puppies. They shouldn't have to wear a muzzle until their jaws have developed. It's abuse.
@theFOALGroup
I have an xl and all the kids in my street shout his name and wave at him when we go out walking. He is a rescue and an absolute gem. I’m devastated by the ban.
@VikkiMarland
Can you imagine the outrage if it was any other breed. What has happened to this country of so called animal lovers? It's heartbreaking 💔
Then seeing this post from
