UPDATE; The head of student finance at UoLeeds has just emailed me out of the blue apologising for all of this and said this was an ‘error’ by student loans (I don’t believe that because SLC told me it wasn’t an error. I think the uni are trying to bury their wrongdoing!)

If u have a broken leg u can see the person has a cast and the bone will take it’s time to heal and it’s easy to understand. But with mental illness you can’t see that you can’t see anything and sometimes it sucks Bcos people don’t understand as a result.
