Thank you
@Feargal_Sharkey
for visiting Salisbury on to chat to us about sorting out the sewage in our rivers! 💩 And thank you to all who stopped by to make it such an inspiring discussion. Yes, we can fix it. We just need the right leadership.

I was invited today to help Keir Starmer launch a nuclear deterrent triple lock, showing Labour's serious commitment to our national security, service personnel and good defence jobs. It was a pleasure to hear Keir and John Healey speak so passionately on this issue.
Following 5 weeks of our campaign, Salisbury is now the most marginal seat in the UK!
Salisbury, on July 4th, you finally have a real chance to turn over the Conservatives with a vote for Matt Aldridge.
Take a look at the analysis:

Salisbury now has a chance to vote for a brighter future!
As a local dad, Army veteran and clean energy expert, I have the integrity to fight for our community and get things done. Only Labour can beat the Tories in Salisbury.

I was proud to help launch Labour's nuclear deterrent triple lock today, which will improve national security, create good jobs, and demonstrate our unshakable commitment to NATO.

I am devastated to see the pointless desecration of Stonehenge, our local, national and World Heritage monument that is symbolic of our culture and history. I'm not sharing the video because I don't want to give oxygen to this kind of vandalism.
We ran out of leaflets this weekend!!! Absolutely incredible support. Thank you
#Salisbury
! It’s a pleasure to discuss issues with the people of the place I love so much.
Wonderful gathering at the War Memorial this morning to hear the Town Criers Proclamation and a service of Remembrance. The timing reflected the early hours of D-Day, which we honour today while remembering veterans who still live with memories of conflict.

I worked as a civil servant in clean energy and climate resilience. When people tell me they're worried about our environment, like sewage in our rivers, I know we have the smarts, science and solutions. What we need is the leadership. That's the choice on July 4.

It's a great day for a bit of democracy! I just cast my vote and it felt very surreal. Don't forget to use yours!

Spent a wonderful evening at the Salisbury D-Day 80 Gala Dinner to raise money for
@PoppyLegion
. It was great to see so many members from the Salisbury & Amesbury Armed Forces & Veteran Breakfast club, and hear a wonderfully thought-provoking speech from General Carter. 🫡
Bookies have opened their bets in Salisbury — and it's as nail-bitingly close as the polls. One thing's clear, if you want change in Salisbury, only Labour can defeat the Conservatives.
Lovely evening knocking on doors around Exeter Street, where we received some of the most positive responses yet! Thank you to everyone we took the time to chat with us and express your support. Salisbury is turning red — not turning back!

What a lovely afternoon spent in the St Michael’s Community Centre in Bemerton Heath speaking to the Knit & Natter group and the Disability Interest Group of Salisbury - DIGS. It was a joy to discuss community issues over a nice hot cuppa. Thank you for having me!
Ask me anything! Really. Saunter on down to the glorious Rude Giant Beer House on Saturday 29th June, where I’ll be hanging out with volunteers from 5pm ready to chat with you. Both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks available. 🍻🧃✨
I may be biased, but Salisbury and South Wiltshire contains the most beautiful views in the world. (Shame I'm out here ruining!) It was a pleasure to knock doors in Nunton yesterday and I can't wait to be back.

Met with the managers of Salisbury Medical Practice to discuss how a Labour government can improve primary care across Salisbury and the surrounding area. Under Labour we will deliver an extra 40,000 appointments per week.
Lovely to meet such a hard-working, dedicated team!

As a former regular officer and serving reservist, I’m incredibly proud of the vital work conducted by our service personnel, military families and veterans — at home and overseas. Thank you for your service.

Happy Father's Day to all who are celebrating. It's been an emotional day — filled with gratitude for my wonderful daughter and wife, who've supported me through this election campaign. It's been stressful, but Salisbury needs change and I'm prepared to fight for it.

Another afternoon of very positive responses and lots of support in Harnham, the area where I grew up. (Excuse the awkward selfie, as a partially-sighted lad it's not exactly my forte!)
Finished our fourth knock of the day around Nunton and Odstock. Amazing responses! Many are lending their vote to Labour for the first time here, saying it's a breath of fresh air to see us out.

for inviting me to Langford Lakes to see the inspiring work you do protecting our local fauna. I was particularly impressed by the new sand martin nesting bank! I hope I can continue my support through Labour's smart environment platform.
Lovely to stroll the charming streets of Tisbury, leafleting and knocking on doors. Thank you so much to everyone who gave us a warm reception! We connected with a lot of first-time Labour voters who are fed up with being taken for granted by the Conservatives.
I’d like to thank the other candidates, who were often kind to me and each other behind the scenes.
And we can’t lose sight of the bigger picture! Across the country, the message is clear. We’ve demanded change and Keir Starmer now has the mandate to deliver it!
Thank you 🌹
Very interesting infographic in the

recently. This is a time of change in our political landscape, and I'm proud to see many voters noticing the strong values and policies of Labour for the first time.
Although we fell short this time, we achieved:
🌹 The smallest majority since 1929, taking the Conservatives’ from 19,736 right down to 3,807 in one fell swoop!
🌹 Increased our vote share by 7.8 points.
🌹 Raised awareness of integrity and truthfulness in political advertising.
Great turnout for our door knocking session in St Francis ward. Really lovely conservations on the doorstep and lots of support!

Having spent years working in clean energy policy and in developing large-scale renewable projects, this is the way forward. Vote Labour for a clean economy, clean energy and clean politics.
Great to be out and about across the Nadder Valley, covering the west of the constituency, including Hindon, East Knoyle and Semley. Lots of positivity, great responses, and I even bumped into an old boss of mine!

will really benefit from Labour's fully-costed, fully-funded plan for growth. One of my top 3 priorities is to create a thriving local economy — one that works as hard as we do.
Labour's plan for high streets:
✅ 13,000 more neighbourhood police and PCSOs
✅ Guaranteed face-to-face banking in every community
✅ Replace business rates
✅ Stamp out late payments
✅ Revamp empty shops, pubs, and community spaces
Great morning in Hilltop Way! Fantastic reception on the doorstep. It's clear people in Salisbury are fed up with the current government and excited about the change we're offering.

policies will help me fight to secure better support for our hard-working farmers.
Labour's Matt Aldridge will:
✅ Drive down energy bills by switching on Great British Energy and insulating homes
✅Build more homes people can afford
✅Reduce food prices by removing barriers to businesses trading
I was blown away by the work, ethos and people at

The Conservatives cut pothole funding in the south west by £22 MILLION since 2020.
