AAU parents. The umps are trying their best. No need to go after them after the game. Your team left 5 guys in scoring position it’s not the umps fault.
Can’t wait for the fire Hurley crowd to complain when hire the next coach and he’s worse. Careful what you wish for. Just ask Pitt fans how that has gone. Also if you think a team could make a comeback like that with a bad coach you know nothing about being around a team.
If I was pitching I would try and find a way to throw at my own teammates for giving high fives to the kid who just took my soul and hit the ball over the scoreboard. Can’t imagine why kids are losing the “competitive edge” factor in their games

If I see one more youth baseball team with walk up music, that doesn’t know how to field bunts or hit cutoff men I’m going to lose it. Isn’t youth baseball about teaching the game above all else?
He can’t control a travel and a charge late. He got his best two scorers going downhill with Xavier rotating. Saw someone call that effort soft. Soft teams don’t respond like that and comeback. They just don’t, poorly coached teams don’t show that type of fight.
I wonder if parents would be happy knowing how difficult some summer ball coaches make it for college coaches to get contact information for players. Isn’t that the point of the whole summer ball thing?
AAU dad telling me my radar gun is wrong and his kid throws “at least 10 mph faster than that” is exactly how I wanted my day to start.

Want to throw this out there, the babe Ruth NE regional tournament was 10x better than any travel tournament we played in all year (played in 10 travel tourneys). 8 well coached teams competing their asses off for something that matters, it cannot possibly be replicated in travel
Coaches you’re getting paid thousands of dollars. Can we at least teach cut relays correctly? Think it goes unnoticed when players don’t know where to be on the field? Cash that check.
And it shows when kids get to college and have no idea how to practice. And then wonder why they struggle to get on the field, when jobs are won in practice🤷
In American Legion, we played almost every day, practiced on off days, and had only 2 true off days a month. Then played for a real tournament worth something (districts, states, regionals, nationals).
Now you try and practice and it’s like pulling teach.
Youth ball is broken.
Maybe they should would worry less about rewarding to 5-15 teams and actually putting the teams who earned the right to be there and do one bracket of the 8 best teams lol
