@PG_ESAM Actually not much, though it would be nice. I played a mod where it had the same input lag but the buffer was significantly reduced and it felt amazingly smooth. The buffer is the bigger problem IMO.

@DoodleDoodfrfx The game feels really good out of the gate and most issues are ones that will likely and importantly can be patched. The first game was fast because of artificial reasons (just being able to press buttons fast) where this game has more decision making involved comparatively.

ult is the perfect example of "wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle". yeah sure you have 90 characters but the game is so utterly devoid of interesting universal mechanics. it as barebones as platfighters get. 64 had more going on with it than ult and it invented the fucking genre.
