I finally understood RGE (renormalisation group equation). All that it says is that a theory is invariant under redefinition of the scale of the theory (or lattice spacing) as it can be compensated by a change in the couplings. At the fixed point (βi(Λ) =0) we get a CFT.

The Japanese are a meticulous and thoughtful people. I lost my keys while out running 2 weeks ago. I had lost any hope of finding them again. I went back for a run today and lo and behold, someone must had placed them by the sign so if I pass by, I will see them. Amazing! 🤩

After several trips to the vet and treatments this month, my beloved cat was diagnosed with blood cancer. He was in a very bad state so I had to say goodbye to him today and held him in my arms for one last time. I am gonna miss him so much. Rest in peace my baby 💔💔💔😭😭😭

It’s not going well. I have been syringe feeding him since Wednesday but he is very dehydrated. He is staying at the animal hospital tonight to get IV fluids and proper care. I can only pray now 🙏🏻 😢

I got my first grant rejection. Some good feedback! It was a well written and solid project, a couple of downsides I.e. , results not measurable yet with experiments. Overall, I found it to be a great experience, I am still only doing my first postdoc so I will try again 😁

I have decoupled this week, writing a grant proposal! Deadline is next week 😱 Wish me luck! If I get it I will have a lot more money to travel for the next 2 years 😁
