I can think of a lot of better ways for affordability to be front and center than undercutting the CLCPA. For example, getting NYers off of expensive fossil fuels more quickly and making polluters pay.

.⁦ @GovKathyHochul ⁩ expected here at Woodside Houses in Queens to announce new heat pumps will be installed in apartments, the beginning of a citywide rollout for NYCHA. The window units are far more energy efficient, providing both cool and warm air.

I sincerely hope the future Mayor will reconsider this upon learning that Bitcoin is created using a process so energy consumptive that alone it can push #GlobalWarming above 2 degrees C. NYC has important climate goals that should not be undercut.

I pulled a lucky number in the lottery and got to ask @SenGillibrand directly about #HoosickFalls and EPA funding. The Senator said EPA should ban #PFOA and it should be considered a carcinogen.
