Today 200 Elders have been evicted by Heritage Glen Retirement, Chartwell Care. Despite all the signs pointing to a sale of the building well over a year ago, Chartwell carried on, denying any sales plans. This spring the eviction notices were given. Doug Ford has done nothing.

The @fordnation government's response to #LegislatedPoverty is a meager 5% increase. This increase does not even match inflation since 2018. If @DrFullertonMPP truly thinks $1,227 per month is enough, then she should join us in our advocacy efforts to prove it.

Terrace Bay and the surrounding areas are struggling with the mill closure. Families need hope & action. Gov't must collaborate with unions, First Nations, & communities. We have to save these jobs! The mill is vital for region. Quality pulp, and potential for green upgrades.
