Okay so what we’re not going to do here is dunk on different areas of medicine for having VERY different training. I’ve also been taught how to administer vaccines and IVs as a first year but pls go on about how that one experience with one med student defines all us.

@Iytnoel 3. Osteopathic med school is still med school. The curriculum is still the same (plus OMM) and I’ve worked with TONS of amazing DOs before starting med school. 4. Some DO schools are more “specialty friendly” than others. Take a look at the past few match lists. (2/x)

Cold outside so I cut through the hospital to get to the lab today. In the cafe a pt said on the phone “I don’t want to see a DO, I want a Dr. that did well on the MCAT”. I felt my soul leave my body and had I not had my badge on that lady would’ve had it. STOP THE STIGMA
