I hadn’t yet posted here about my time ending with Nike, so I wanted to share something. This won’t be lengthy. I said what I needed to say in a LinkedIn post.
For here, I wanted to share some of my favorite moments and content from my 12 years at

Perhaps the trend comes from an innocent place; ultimately oddly-timed for it to happen this year given all the national convo’s about another group that wears white sheets for a different reason.
LeBron is so impressive. He scores the GW bucket, canvasses PG + Kawhi to secure the W, then nearly immediately receives b2b Q's about social injustice and manages to come up with a well-considered answer, likely with a ton of adrenaline from end of the game. What a pro, man.
JOB UPDATE: After 2 1/2 years at Jordan Brand, I'm excited to start a new role tomorrow at Nike on the Global Integrated Media team as a social media platform strategist.

@Nike
! 🙏🏻 No words of wisdom here. Just grateful to be employed and to get to work for a brand that has served as inspiration to so many who have played sports.

Are these not teenagers that you're showing?
I'm not ascribing a political motivation. I'm not even calling you out – don't understand the defensiveness.
It's impossible not to correlate people covering themselves in white sheets with thinking about the worst possible outcome.
@sarahdwire
While there’s no contesting the logistics of what you’re writing, it’s hard to hear that Dem’s have same level of culpability with Rep’s when the latter refuses to work. Or even negotiate.
@Myfootball4ever
@nfldraftscout
Leftwich and Bienemy are offensive coordinators who won Super Bowls coordinating Brady and Mahomes, respectively. Can’t get HC jobs.
When so far this off-season the OC’s who coordinated Rodgers and Allen already have HC gigs.

I once was an outsider when I moved to Montana (I was 13) but after living there for 10 years, I became familiar with what it meant to be a Montanan. Tester is 100% a Montanan.
Tim Sheehy is absolutely not a Montanan.
@murrminks
On-court lighting in the ‘80s was much different than today. Fewer lights and more concentrated on the court. I swear every photo from Boston, Detroit and NYC in the ‘80s reflects this. Almost-black background with only the court lit up and in focus.
@Forbes
Turns out people aren’t robots and can’t be expected to relentlessly focus only on work while in their house with their significant other in whatever timeframe is supposed to represent “company time”.
@MarcJSpearsESPN
I understand but the game also feels like an opportunity to honor his legacy. There's never going to be an easy or opportune time to play again. Ultimately, voices of the players and coaches should be heard to make a decision.

and Republicans like him turn every single topic into a grievance. They’re fundamentally unable to take responsibility for their actions.
I’ve reached 10 years at
#Nike
, meaning I’m now a Decathlete for the first and only time in my life 😆.
This is slightly late as my anniversary was in April. However, I’m proud of the milestone and wanted to share.
My wife and I are now
@ThornsFC
season ticket holders! Portland does a wonderful job in supporting the Thorns and so we're looking forward to becoming apart of that fan base.
Here is a thread about a thread I want to begin. I’ve worked for Nike for 7 years in digital marketing. Previously, I wrote about sports for 5 years. I’ve learned a lot, and I think about my work a lot.
I’m going to share my thoughts on digital marketing here, daily... 1/4
@joelvmoran
The Olympics has no bearing on Lyles’ point, though. In theory, the Celtics would play the best team in other leagues.
An international tournament like the Olympics sits outside that context.
@JoshYohe_PGH
I think you’re underestimating the vitriol LeBron has to deal w/ as an athlete who rose to prominence in the Social Media Era.
MJ, as an athlete, never experienced this new form of society feeling privileged to say horrible stuff, at scale.
Bron has managed it very well.
@sportsrapport
Your framing is imprecise. *People* are judging Dungy because he made fun of trans people and has been critical in the past about abortion.
That doesn't mean the nice things he's done for people doesn't matter. It also doesn't mean he's immune to criticism!
Excited to share 2

These were a lot of fun and took a HUGE team effort. They utilize Snapchat’s full body tracking tech, which they announced last August.

WHQ is featured here!
Well this is a significant detail near the end of one of ESPN’s reports on the PGA-LIV “merger”.
It appears that Saudi’s Public Investment Fund bought the PGA Tour. Not a merger.
Props to Andy Reid for giving Eric Bienemy a shoutout during his victory speech – all these OCs being handed HC jobs and Bienemy just winning Super Bowls.
I assumed that some of the Nike fam would have flowers laid beneath his flag at WHQ by the time I got here with a purple & gold bouquet of my own. I love it. Mamba Forever.
Off on sabbatical for the next six weeks.
Hit my 10-year mark at

in April so now I’ll enjoy time to reflect and plan.
And relax by ensuring I get in my workouts, gain more consistent sleep and travel (Bay Area + London).

This is obviously misleading. Half the country voted for Trump because he took advantage of the fear tactics and “otherism” that they learned for the last 30 years from FOX News.

I wish another columnist would craft a story about him titled Bedbug Man. Or even better, an illustrator depicts him spraying an apartment for bed bugs.

To ascribe truth to whether someone does or doesn’t shill $8/month is so beyond logical that I don’t believe that you believe that.

If a law is broken, write it and portray it as such. Rumination over whether people care is such wasted energy. Law breaking is criminal. This can’t be that difficult.
When you have time – today, tomorrow, next week – read this article and really pay attention to what
@brianbeutler
is writing. It's my favorite distillation of GOP strategy that I've read in some time.
Buttigieg on Vance attacking Walz's service: "There's something much bigger at play here. I watched JD Vance present himself as suddenly very particular about precision in speech and honesty. He's running with Donald Trump -- someone who has set records for lying in public life"
People that make these points are vastly undervaluing Ohtani’s leadership during a season in which Betts, Freeman and Muncy have each missed significant time with injuries and the pitching staff has been in tatters. Ohtani has been a rock.
Will say it again when it comes to Lindor vs. Ohtani
It’s not just that Lindor plays elite position at elite level
It’s not just that Lindor plays every day
It’s that he’s leader in clubhouse, on field, and with media
Hopefully voters aren’t blinded by homers and steals
@Olivianuzzi
Unserious and arrogant message. Too many reporters are quick to go all-in on a Democrat and not give any of the same reporting to a Republican who happens to also be a felon.
@clauirizarry
Nowhere in that statement does she condemn Kanye’s comments about Harriet Tubman or about the irresponsibility of an anti-vaccine message.

: This shows how desperate Republicans are to not talk about the issues. They don't want to talk about their tax breaks for the rich. They don't want to talk about their campaign to end a woman's right to choose. They don't want us talking about the underlying
