Labour got just 25,500 votes in the two by-elections last night. Compare that to the 10.2 million votes Labour got in 2019, or the 14million the Tories got. Terrible night for Starmer.

An important pointer for the make up of the French Parliament and the next Presidential elections…. **within** the left coalition it is a doubling of moderate Parti Socialiste MPs which is driving the rise of the left coalition. Melenchon hasn’t made many gains at all.

So it’s ‘Kamala’, like Comma - la but you have to say Comma in an American accent so it sounds a bit like Camma-la to a Brit so we Brits all have to try to work out whether comma-la or camma-la sounds more like the US ‘Cawmalla’ or try putting on the accent.

If Man City - as I assume they will based on today’s ruling - face a 1150 point penalty is it not a bit unfair that they get to take that all in one season and only get relegated once? Surely it should be 80 odd points a season for 14 seasons until they’re playing Sunday league?
