Tonight i bit the bullet. I finally joined the Orange lodge in North Belfast. Was really surprised to see that so many members were young and enthusiastic and the numbers are incredibly large for an Orange lodge in the area.

PSNI told ,in no uncertain terms,at a meeting in North Belfast 2 hours ago that any movement on the Tigers Bay bonfire will be seen as a direct,unwarranted attack on all of Loyalism. Should it occur then a mass mobilisation of the Loyalist community would commence.

Yesterday evening , a peaceful protest , in Ballymena, was baton charged by the PSNI. A landrover was also driven directly through a flute band. Assurances given prior , to local councilor of a low key , evidence based response, was contradicted. Two tier policing exists.
