Starting 4 days prior to landfall NHC wrote 17 full Hurricane María advisories. Every single one called for landfall in Puerto Rico. 16 of those forecasts called for María to hit as a major hurricane. Remarkable work by NHC. Impact should've been no surprise to anyone, *anywhere*

Como era de esperarse, el desarrollo de un nuevo centro de circulación ha causado un desplazamiento hacia el norte de la trayectoria trazada a las 5 PM por CNH el cual deja a la República Dominicana enteramente fuera del área de preocupación pero pasa el centro diagonal sobre PR.
