I have an idea.
@Douglas4Moray
pops up on my timeline about every 20th post. His team are worse than the FSB for indoctrination. So I reckon to counter this, I'm going to post this on every thread of his I see. He'll love that.
Feel free to retweet and join in.
I'm not buying this for a second.
Somebody pulls out a gun at a Trump rally, shoots at him, and not one person sees them?
Fuck off. If that had happened the person would be under a pile of about a hundred folk. Not having it. Martyr zone. Besides, how do you miss that head?
I've just spent 4 days going round the Inner Hebrides on CalMac ferries.
They were always on time, clean, efficient, the staff were always friendly.
Just for the benefit of those people who've never been on a ferry but think it's a political issue.
@Douglas4Moray
@CalMacFerries
I have no idea how many women are victims of a trans-attack as the rabid right seem reluctant to provide the information, but for all the flag-shagging yoons:
If I had a young daughter, I'd feel much safer knowing she was in a changing room with a trans-woman than Prince Andrew.
@JumbleRates
Oh this could be entertaining.
Legal experts will correct me, but is there not a restriction about being an MP if you're declared bankrupt? (section 427 Insolvency Act 1986)
More interesting, would he have to declare his income to the court?
@Mike_Fabricant
The most famous wig in politics criticising people about being limited in the upstairs department?
Now that's ficken funny.

If it helps, the blue bit wasn't for ink, it was for pencil, but you used it on tracing paper if you were doing architectural (or technical I guess) drawings.
Tracing paper is much more dense so it doesn't get ripped by it.
(For ink, you got scraping with the scalpel).

I couldn't count how many times I've been told to go back to where I came from.
But I don't really want to live in East Kilbride.
You're on the side of the good guys Father. Love over fear. Hope over hate.
@eastlothianmp
Similarly, your constituents voted for an SNP candidate, so you'd think they would prefer to pick their own representative rather than a fair weather friend.
Yet you chose not to do the decent thing and call a by-election to test that theory. Hmmmm.
@korir_susan
@alvinfoo
@oprman
Aye, because Thatcher suffocated my country, governed without representation and caused pain and suffering to the weakest, whilst destroying our country's industrial heartland.
Don't bring gender into it. Merkel was a great leader because she was a great leader, not a woman.
@ScottishFA
You really haven't read the room, have you?
Pull out of the fixture. Refuse to play it. Sanctions against the Israeli war machine.
And before you say it, Israeli law states everyone over 18 must do their National Service in the IDF, so no, they are not civilians.
@CraigCelt
There's a really obvious point in all of this everyone overlooks or ignores.
Rodgers isn't a masochist. He's not trying to fail. If Vata or Kelly were good enough, he'd play them.
They were given a chance to continue their education, their apprenticeship. They know better.
@Douglas4Moray
Did the SNP not buy Prestwick airport in 2013, to save it from being closed down?
And transform it into a profitable business?
It's not every day you see a linesman blooter in an own goal.
@BylineTimes
@alexhallhall
Kier Starmer was an exquisitely talented lawyer. It so follows that likewise he's an exceptionally skilled orator.
But listen to what he actually says.
He's an apologist for genocide who refuses to rescind Tory policy and indeed promotes it. He's a Tory. He's in Israel's pocket
So...
MP convicted for child abuse. Two most senior politicians found guilty of law-breaking. Refugees to be "processed" illegally. Chancellor acquiesces regarding tax avoidance. Covid deaths off the scale.
Have I missed anything?
It's only Wednesday.
Sorry but...

@McardleTrevor
My country's "Track and Trace" system cost ยฃ89.3M and, by all accounts, worked very well.
But I live in Scotland, so there's clearly no comparison there.
Had Holyrood set up a comparable functioning system for a population England's size it'd have cost, oh, about ยฃ800M.
@67_grill
Not strictly speaking a cocktail, but...
An Angebomb...
Fosters/XXXX with a shot of sake dropped in.
Actually two shots... We all know an Angebomb only works right if it's a double.
@scottagnew
I'm almost too scared to ask, but:
1. What on Earth is she actually on about?
2. What point is she actually trying to make?
Is she trying to trade magic beans for a bottle of Eldorado? Again?
@Ianblackford_MP
Is it really an unprecedented challenge?
We've seen wars before (we were even in a few).
We've been skint before.
In fact the only thing unprecedented, is that we've never had a law breaking Prime Minister before.
I'm not sure that's quite what you meant Alister.
@chriswilliam243
@Tesco
Gosh, what a lovely garden.
I reckon you've absolutely nailed the mood of the room mate, complaining about your food delivery upsetting your new lawn, at a time when millions are using food banks due to a cost of living crisis.
First world problems, eh? Candlelit vigil anyone?
@marc4indy
@NicolaSturgeon
Plan B:
Failing that, we could assemble a crack squad of sniper texters, positioned around Bute House.
Every time she steps out the door to leave she gets a text:
"Did ye leave the oven oan?"
"Did ye lock the back door?"
"Did ye feed the cat?"
She'll be there for years.
@SharonDowey_
Are there train strikes in England?
40 mile queues at ports in Kent?
Free higher education? Free prescriptions?
Have statistics been published for the census in England and Wales? (28/06/2022)
And does the home office run the benefits system?
And your point is?
@ordinarybhoy
A bit disingenious...
If Miovski was getting the sort of service that the Celtic midfield and wing backs provide, I suspect he'd have scored a few more than he has at Aberdeen, where pickings have been slim.
@Mike_Fabricant
@GBNEWS
I like you Michael. I think you do have the best interests of your constituents at heart.
But are you honestly saying you don't think GBNews have an opinionated agenda? Are you really saying they're fair and unbiased?
Essentially, are you looking for a job with GBNews?
@STVSport
It's gonna be a belter of a "What happened next" round on a Question of Sport if the answer is...
"Our former team captain gets huckled for being a frothing mouthed racist bigot..."
@Sme51899360
I assume...
She asked the players, and manager, if it was OK if she could get a pic...
They were OK with that, so they must have thought she was nice.
Why do folk have an issue with this?
Jeez, Ally McCoist gave big Ange a bearhug (irony intended) at full time.
@HRHDukeThomas
It falls somewhere between "unsettling" and "baffling" to hear the Royal Succubus using the phrase "working."
Hearing her say "working" is the equivalent of the initial salvo of my Open University lecture about quantum mechanics.
The issue with Jeremy Hunt's otherwise brilliant macro-economics critique:
He states last year a cup of coffee cost ยฃ2.50, but this year it costs ยฃ2.86. That's not true, is it Jezza?
Last year it cost fuck all and this year it costs fuck all, because you claim it on expenses.
@CheGuevara38287
I owned a small hotel.
I can change a duvet faster than any woman in Christendom.
Sadly, that's about the only sentence involving the words "duvet" and "woman" you're likely to hear from me...
๐
@LKTranslator
I wish I could laugh at that...
Because as always it's brilliantly written and nailed on.
Sadly, it's beyond parody, and a hundred fucking per cent true.
@PMJawn
I'm not sure why you guys didn't like him.
I always thought he was quite self-effacing and humorous.
And I really didn't understand why Pep seemed so down on him.
I thought when he signed he'd be a safe pair of hands.
I didn't expect him to turn out a hero. But he is.
@RangersFC
This whole timeline has to be preserved in the twitter gold hall of fame!!!
Superb.
I can't remember the last time I laughed so much.
Oh wait a minute, I do, it was on Sunday.
@SMMediaCeltic
A very good point was made earlier by, of all things, a fan of the other lot.
Had he been a contracted Celtic player last season, and someone wanted to buy him from us, we wouldn't be accepting less than ยฃ10M.
So I don't see anything wrong with Norwich holding firm. Seems fair.
@theAndrewSharpe
I love that they're saying the SNP "own" CalMac.
"Aye right Sarge, we've got the teabags, the razors, and the fleet of ferries, anything we've missed?"
@DanielJMath1
"Hiya. Ermmm, nawww Grandpa, we'll eh... Nawww, we'll no' be takin' the weans oor this weekend. How no? Ummm, we're emigratin'. Aye, Canada. Really far North. Nawww ye cannae get a plane there. Ah'm gaun intae a tunnel. Bye"
Bet he thinks loads of his mates live really far away.
@chris_sutton73
If Ally McCoist is comparing Rangers to Lazarus...
And bear in mind he was quite closely involved at the time...
Did he not just effectively confirm Rangers died?
Those people astonished to see a Union Jack waving, right wing, Unionist crowd booing and jeering yesterday...
Have clearly never been to Ibrox when the zombies are getting gubbed.
@J4m35c4mpb3ll
Loving the fact there's a solitary Spain fan saying the Spanish equivalent of...
"They're not worth it..."
to the Germans ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ That's the European Union right there ๐
@yataoda4
I wouldn't read too much into a player being at an airport.
I think it would be highly unlikely Celtic would be allowing any player to court other clubs while there are still 5 games to go this season.
More likely he's off somewhere to film an ad or fulfil a sponsor commitment.
@kevinmilesaway
Somebody has to say it... ๐
Christopher Jullien... Ferrari 430. Whilst not the ultimate hypercar, he purrs like a kitten and roars like a lion. This prancing horse can blow you away from a standing start but soothe you in the corners.
Usually at the mechanics.
@Taj_Ali1
I also think, by that same logic...
If you have to remain as Prime Minister (despite being hounded out by colleagues) because you are so vital to the running of the country then you probably shouldn't bugger off on 3 months holiday.

Did you ask him why, under his watch, you've cosied up in bed with the Tories in 8 different councils?
Hmmmm?
We see you. Red Tories.
@ChrisMcEleny
Christopher, honest question. Let's see if you've the guts to answer it.
When was the last time you wrote anything, at all, critical of a Unionist? When did you last confront a Unionist party MP/MSP or unionist news outlet? When did you last criticise anything non SNP related?
@GlasgowCC
Ummm...
Where's Il Pasionara?
Which, to be honest, is about the only statue in Glasgow worth preserving, that doesn't have a traffic cone on it's head.
@swadgers
Whilst I respect your tweet...
It failed to blame Nicola Sturgeon, mention ferries or, for that matter, identify the SNP as the root cause of all UK wide strikes in the rail, health, education, postal and legal sectors.
You wouldn't last a day at the BBC
@Limerick1914
Was he high?
OK Neil...
And if my mother, who's classified as "vulnerable" catches Covid, and dies, because of you...
So be it?
Not really much freedom for her, is there?
Or does freedom only apply to you?
No be it.

Saint Johnstone should have taken it on "good faith" the Rangers would provide adequate security provisions for the fixture then?
Presumably?
You know, like Celtic are meant to.

It's not subjective in the least.
By EVERY metric Jim Clark beats Jackie Stewart, as well as the fact in the 4 seasons they raced against each other Clark finished above Stewart 3-1.
@JumbleRates
Oh, and...
If
@BootstrapCook
can't do it, no bugger can.
Do they think we're the SAS and live on grubs?
I can't wait to see Lee Anderson as the new Bear Grylls.
Or maybe the new Nadine Dorries. Ostrich anus anyone?
@PaulaCoyscot
So, is she saying...
Some Priests were paedophiles so Catholics are therefore paedophiles? No?
So the fact that some priests were paedophiles doesn't have any bearing on whether a Catholic is.
So then it follows there is no relationship between paedophilia and trans identity.
@TomTugendhat
Imagine living in a country where a Government rode roughshod over it's own rule of law.
Shocking.
In other news, any update on the Sue Gray report?
Asking for 165,000 friends.
@smudgekins93
They decided they couldn't go to Australia if it meant they would have to cross into Switzerland dressed as nuns.
Because they're not that keen on crosses. And nuns. And geography. And cinema.
Then when Julie Andrews did the Broony the toys came oot the pram.
@PeterStefanovi2
See Peter,
That's you being Mr Negativity.
That trade deal is worth ยฃ3835.62 a week.
Which only leaves a shortfall of ยฃ349,996,164.38 from the ยฃ350M our NHS is getting as a bonus from Brexit.
You just won't appreciate the positives, will you? ๐คช
@hst_roo
Unpopular opinion.
I won't be booing him. I'll be in Germany and he'll have my 100% backing however things go, same as every other person in dark blue will get.
I'm not saying I'd have picked him but so long as he's playing for Scotland so he has my absolute support.
@aboutceltic
@ScottBurns75
Jeez the hate on here...
Never bad-mouthed the club, never got a chance, never did anything other than be a complete professional. Some "Celtic family."
Good luck Benji, you deserve to be first pick somewhere. ๐๐
