Just In: California lawmakers in the Assembly put SB 94 back on track in the state's lawmaking process. Had been on inactive file. It reduces sentences for some convicted felons-including those charged with murder- if they've been in custody for 25+ years or since 1990.

Have there been any substantive changes to the program to actually make sure this program works?
