Is this the cloud city in Star Wars? No it is Kansas City in Missouri. There is patchy dense fog near the ground and river. The fog will burn off by 9-10 AM. There is even some interesting vertical development in the fog. @KSHB41

The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded our severe risk for tonight. We are now in a level 3 of 5 risk for severe weather tonight. The damaging wind threat has gone from 15% to 30% and the 2% tornado threat has expanded east. Overall, the data has changed little. @41actionnews

In my 50 years living in KC, I don’t recall the intentional rolling black outs. Evergy says it is the most electric demand out doing supply in 40 years.

Evergy is conducting rolling blackouts, where power is shut off for 30-60 minutes in many locations.. This is in an attempt to prevent a wide spread blackout. Snow is increasing and up to 2" on top of our snow is possible. Watch @41ActionNews for more! Forecast: -19° by morning!
