@j1nx_th3_r1pp3r The biggest issue is that Godwyn is still "alive" as an undead really. As Fia says Godwyn, the same one that was once the Golden Prince, now lives in the mending rune of Death. The death knights in SOTE are just a continuation of his story in the base game.

@SouperLuchs1 The biggest hurdle isn't really that he died via destined death alone, that just grants you a normal death. It's that he died at the exact same time as Ranni so he's half alive, just in the opposite sense that Ranni is. It's why I put emphasis on the Fia quest.
