I think this whole “autism self-dx doesn’t count” discourse is mired in this erroneous and outdated idea that autism is first and foremost a set of behavioral traits and not simply a greater number of synapses in the brain that results in a different user experience

@ChareseTyler @nowthisnews Pretty common in philosophy, sadly. These predators get away with this sort of behavior for decades. Then, after it finally makes national news (and dozens of women have been harmed), they ACTUALLY get fired. The firing should happen a whole lot sooner.

@laurenancona The autistic men in the room are “geniuses,” which means they’re allowed to rock back and forth in their chairs or literally bounce off the walls and it’s fine. But if I so much as open my mouth to say the obvious it’s because my autism is making me a “difficult woman.”

finding out that a guy you thought was your friend for a very long time isn’t actually your friend and was just along for the ride because he thought he could get favors from you is the absolute worst

Do people in general *not* know that this is the official Catholic stance on contraception?? Like,,,, I’m not denying that it’s bad. I’m just saying that this is actually what the doctrine says, what I was taught at home by my catholic parents, what’s taught in Catholic textbooks
this is straight-up evil shit right here. His wife has had SEVEN high risk pregnancies and he says birth control is a lie. And then using Catholicism to justify this evil shit.
