. @greateranglia do you practice your contingency plans? This is INSIDE the ticket barriers. It could so easily have become a stampede. No one could get to their platform then train refuses to open doors when they did and drives off half full (17.10 to Southend). So dangerous

Yes the Express has an older audience but they have one of the most loyal audiences too. You can’t just switch that on

Gatwick Airport queue review: No queue at Norwegian bag drop (lovely staff), straight through security (South Terminal) looked like very very long queues for TUI and BA bag drops. Fine to get food. From train to duty free less than 30 mins 👍
