Unionists say "I can't support indy because Wales will be (insert nonsense here) and not perfect." No-one is saying indy Cymru will be perfect - we are grown ups. But it will be better off, fairer and more democratic. Not especially high hurdles atm tbh. #EndtheUnion @YesCymru

‘Westminster is actively working against Wales’ - concluded by a Unionist MP who’s worked hard at the Westminster coalface… This is not a productive Union for Cymru, there is no insurance policy, we are being taken for a ride and it’s time to get off and make our own way

Socialist solidarity across the UK is theoretically sound but practically impossible. A shame that a bright and talented politician like @PrifWeinidog can’t see clearly enough to let go of the dogma and see what’s best for Cymru…

Drakeford: We don’t get enough from Westminster. Us: Well if your insurance policy isn’t paying out, change providers. Drakeford: A Labour govt will pay out . Us: It’s still the same company, just a new manager. Why not try Independence? Drakeford: I prefer Westminster.

The children of Wales can no longer *afford* to be part of this broken Union. Those who argue that Cymru can’t ‘afford’ to be independent are in denial. We must break free to address and solve our own challenges, setting our own priorities. #annibyniaeth #indynow

Destitution has increased, particularly in Wales. Roughly 1 in 3 children live in poverty in Wales. 710,000 people in Wales live below the poverty line. Half of those living in destitution have a household income of less than £85 per week. The UK isn’t working for Wales.

This👇 I want my children and grandchildren to grow up in a country where children thrive. Where opportunity exists for all of them not the wealthy few The figures are dire for the UK as a whole, Wales is at the bottom within the UK. Independence. For our children’s sake.

“This appetite [progressive change] is fundamentally incompatible with the regressive unionist ideology rooted in cultural dominance and conservatism.” This theme is the same across Wales, Scotland & the north of Ireland. The Union is on borrowed time.

It’s a shame we have so little independent media in Wales, fewer still brave enough to shine a light on Labour’s policy and rhetoric - (which can’t possibly be designed with Wales in mind as it’s loaded with private provision for healthcare and paeans of praise for Thatcher!)
