I've just spoken to my son who's a Gold Coast resident - he had to go through 3 checkpoints on the Gold Coast Hwy, 2kms from the NSW border and IN Queensland! Soldiers, cops with guns -he was going to Kirra to pick up a surfboard, interrogated..
