WTF was FromBloxware thinking designing that second phase sweep kick?? The input reading is ridiculous
@skumnut
I expect to see your no hit run for Lord Aelfric, Arbiter of Souls
@GinoMachino
Because they needed somewhere to put the banger of this OST that it is.
I really think it's the best gank fight in all of Fromsoft, I love the interaction between everybody.
@Ratatos77196870
I’m sure the studio time for that was absolutely brutal but he is going down as one of Fromsoft’s most animated and beloved NPCs of all time. Worth it, in my opinion.
@TsuboiKlein
Honestly incredible that a Fromsoft game community hero is recognized in public, good for you AND Fromsoft, Elden Ring (and associated characters) really are global sensations and it’s fantastic to see
@VideoArtGame
Sorry but once Bloodborne is either remastered or patched at 60 FPS and ported to PC, it will be considered THE greatest video game to ever release.
@ZullieTheWitch
I love the Dancing Lion so much. Banger of an OST and his fight is so exhilarating to watch. His aesthetics almost remind me of Sekiro in some odd way
@All_Lee24
They actually have pretty intricate sound design, here's a cool video showcasing it, great find and thank you for sharing!
Credit to Sen on YouTube
@GinoMachino
The fact that this is in the game just SHOWS that Fromsoft doesn't playtest..it's absolutely busted, once you get Rain of Fire you don't have to use anything else in your playthrough.
@TheActMan_YT
Anyone who critiques the DLC is bound to admit their take is controversial because they know what they’re about to say is NOT accurate and will easily be countered. Still looking forward to seeing this.
@TsuboiKlein
My only wishes that were left unfulfilled were more cutscenes. From a quality perspective, they absolutely outdid themselves and I am very excited for the future. The OSTs themselves almost universally around the DLC are some of the best I've ever heard come out of a video game.
@KaiCenat
Kai Cenat is hailed by the soulsborne community as Sony reluctantly announces the Bloodborne PC port to rake in the Kai Cenat Stream audience money after bitterly watching him pull in 150,000 concurrent viewers for 100 hours straight
@sekirodubi
Although I am ok with the ending of Elden Ring, the worldbuilding is insane and I really wish we were to get another DLC or two because there's simply so much unexplored, and so much to be found out.
@Ziostorm1
Ahh, you are a wretched, wretched soul... A nightmare, come to plague me. Such a thing...couldn't possibly be... Could it? St. Trina, please, let me hear your voice. In my everlasting slumber...
Poor fella
@MenasLG
I think they're going to have to experiment and go in a Sekiro-esque direction. Promised Consort is in my opinion hitting the limit at fun, achievable difficulty levels as somebody who loves the fight, I expect refreshed combat mechanics. No matter what it is, I'm excited
@gemahtreeuhh
Someone please upload themselves no hitting Malenia while blindfolded on a dance dance revolution pad simultaneously controlling two different game instances to show to this guy asap
@ZullieTheWitch
Man, when I saw the colossal drake in the Jagged Peak that's exactly what I had in mind. It would make for a really cool and unique dungeon, but I'm happy with the way Jagged Peak turned out.
@_7albi
Yeah he’s one of my favorite characters in the entire game seriously. Actually takes his role seriously and hunts the Tarnished throughout their journey, even tries to protect Godrick’s pathetic ass by astral projecting, literally BLEEDS gold.
@All_Lee24
The depth effect achieved here is spectacular, I really wish I was artistically inclined so I could draw cool shit like this, thank you for sharing this.
@jugemusequencer
Yeah to be honest I don’t understand it either. I remember a huge portion of the fan base collectively thinking fighting prime Radahn would be the coolest thing ever and that’s technically what we got. I understand the slight lore critiques, but the OST and fight itself is great.
@zlofsky
I am assuming by visuals that the shadow version of the larval tear is simply spiritual by nature. The original larval tear is much more embryo-like, resembling even an umbilical cord, very corporeal.
@ZullieTheWitch
100% I think their next souls project is going to be similarly experimental. Shadow of the Erdtree in my opinion is pushing the bar pretty high for what is realistic to achieve while still retaining fun, I’m looking forward to more refreshed and new mechanics like Sekiro had.
@zlofsky
I really appreciate the different versions of Marika’s statues and how the one portraying her as nothing more than a mother is of course what Messmer has in his throne room. Really makes him an even more tragic character when you start tying everything together.
@ZullieTheWitch
Rellana and Romina were two that I’d thought would have cutscenes. Rellana is a great fight, however Romina felt a little bit underwhelming for what her lore implies and what is locked behind her.

@VideoArtGame
*asks for opinion*
*gets opinion*
*UGH ARGHHHHHHHHHHH INSUFFERABLE*
I clearly love every work of art that Fromsoft has ever put out, because I prefer one video game over the other does not mean I like the other video game any less.
@zlofsky
Yosh is really cool, he was the last thing i was expecting at the end of the dungeon. His sword is really cool as well, I wish it performed a bit better.
@gemahtreeuhh
I love souls games because you'll experience this and then go on social media and see someone beat the same boss while blindfolded, ears plugged, doing a yoga pose while controllering their character with an electric guitar. Peak gaming, good luck to that fella.
@TheActMan_YT
It's incredible the level of trust I have in Fromsoft as a whole, compared to every other studio out there that unfortunately feels impossible to trust. Always looking forward to what the man himself is cooking up
@TheActMan_YT
Here's my first Radahn kill on my first cycle, no status effects, naked and new cirques just infused with holy. on my way back now to no hit him, but that's already been done a million times over. His patterns are not as bad as they look because of the holy pillars.
@KERR0N
Here’s my winning attempt after about 3 hours, naked and no status effects. Best piece of advice that I can give is throw on the holy braid talisman and just take the holy damage and only worry about his physical attacks.
@Lucatiel_es
I don't care what anybody says, they could never make me hate Radahn being the final boss. I understand the lore critiques, but the aesthetics, the OST and the heroic spectacle that it actually is while fighting him is top tier IMO. Cool picture!
@BrodoGogo
@ZullieTheWitch
Love how Fextra has incomplete sections on basic information on pieces of the game that will forever just say [INFORMATION GOES HERE], Fextra definitely is FOR GAMERS BY GAMERS
@PlasmidSouls
self proclaimed video game enjoyers when they immediately decide they won't be playing a video game before it's even been released and push their agenda on everyone trying to ruin the fun
@zlofsky
These are interesting because although they look like sour gummy worms with little feet, they're actually based on real organisms called Giant Pyrosomes.
@zlofsky
The eyes are really interesting, they remind me of our scaled down observable universe. I'm sure there's no connection and it is purely coincidental but I think it is a cool comparison, thank you for sharing.
@Zlofsky2nd
Yeah like Buckthorn said, he does seem very similar to Hodrick from Dark Souls III in terms of appearance to some degree. Very cool NPCs, both of them
@ecolasup
@GinoMachino
I'm inclined to say the OST that is present in the second phase of the final boss. The heroic atmosphere, with the holy light and the chanting in the OST sends chills down my spine.
@GenePark
I think the game does exactly what it set out to do. A lot of comparisons to souls and GoW but I think it's just its own thing and that's great, if not a little bit inspired. I feel very engaged during the fights and the setting is top tier in my opinion.
@zlofsky
I love that they went back to Bloodborne and took the Winter Lantern, one of the most infamous entities and put it into ER. I love the aesthetic comparison between Bloodbornes obvious influence, and the design choices that went into fitting it into ER's design and mood.
@ManusCeles
Most interesting and cool weapon from a lore standpoint and absolutely miserable to use weapon award winner, they could've made it so cool.
@Ziostorm1
I can’t pick between Romina, Leda, Radahn or Divine Dancing Lion in terms of a favorite OST. This DLC really had a perfect OST and it’s been an absolute joy to listen to everything, we definitely got spoiled.
@CocoMuir_
A really well put together fight. One of the things that I appreciate the most is the lack of surprise in this fight. As you scale the Peak and interact with Igon you know exactly where, who and what you’re going to find and the environment is awesome.
@VideoArtGame
rellana is so cool once you get her move set down. really fun fight that i think a lot of people get upset about because they’re under leveled in scadu fragments by the time they find her.
@All_Lee24
This as well as the multiple dev messages that were placed were particularly off putting to me. I believe it is a byproduct to make the game a bit more accessible to the now wider fanbase. Not necessarily a bad thing, but unusual for veterans of the franchise.
