My guess: if the DLC is about Miquella, in this location we either get the item for the DLC or we access the DLC via the statue. Feels early-mid game enough to be reachable by most players like in DS3 or BB. If the DLC is just another gimmick by RTH I'll be disappointed.

Finally, after nearly a year... Miquella has been identified in the Elden Ring files See those beautiful NPC names in the CNT credits. Naomi McDonald is credited as Miquella. But other than that, we had no NPC ID, no model ID, nothing to go by, until I noticed a particular order

The fact that Miquella is Torrent's former master changes all. Renna is the one giving you Torrent's ring. Renna is part of the three Sisters, where Selluvis (307) is. This icon was found there, but there's an alt NPC for Selluvis called "puppet master", ID 306, image from CNT.
