In every single one of these seats,
@TheGreenParty
split the vote and facilitated a Labour win.
In many cases the Labour candidates were LFI supporters.
The Green Party I knew, and once campaigned for, was proudly pragmatic.
In 2019, they even stood down for Lib Dems! So why
One of the best ways to put pressure on the 2 main parties to introduce PR is to stop voting for them and to show you want smaller parties to have a say.
Greens have long asked for more media coverage, that's going to mean more scrutiny of our policy and our leadership. The party needs to be better at dealing with that.

I'm going to be honest, this is an embarrassing interview and it doesn't look good.
MPs don't have an obligation to agree with every concern their constituents say, they are elected as representatives but they aren't delegates.
It's not a simple issue, but greens can do better.
'Are you Britain's NIMBY in chief?'
'You're the leader of the Green Party!'
@BenKentish
challenges the Green Party's Adrian Ramsay, who is opposing the establishment of electric pylons in his constituency.
If you are a green promoting the best for Britain tactical voting, you are essentially promoting voting labour in Bristol central which is our best chance of winning another green MP.
Think before you share this site.
โNow is the time to end British exports of arms to Israel.โ
Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey calls for an end of British arms exports to Israel - hoping it will encourage America to do the same - and adds that it looks like Israel has "broken humanitarian lawโ.
I don't want to see any pathetic "I stand with trans people" tweets from labour members. What are you going to do about it? What actions will you take? If nothing, then your support is meaningless.
@emreadsthebooks
I think that's a bit different, it's not like there are loads of voters who would either vote reform or green. There are just lots of green voters and reform voters.
"There's no middle ground between respecting trans people's humanity and rejecting it."
Following the Cass Review, Londoners can be confident that a vote for me is a vote for someone who has LGBTIQA+ people'sย backs.
@Kyle_Sewell12
LOTO should probably have better security but that video isn't an example of why. That video was legitimate accountability and security should not intervene unless there is evidence of a risk to Starmer
First time ever in our history -
@TheGreenParty
are planning to stand a candidate in every single seat in England and Wales.
Every single vote across the country will be a vote against inequality, a vote for tackling the climate crisis and a vote for a fair voting system.
This is totally unacceptable from a Green Party spokesperson in my view. There are problems with the Cass report and we need to recognise that as a party.

I don't support Jess Philips politically but I'm glad she was re elected over the misogynistic alternative that was so vile to her during the campaign.
"British politics has got caustic and nasty."
Labour's Jess Phillips fights back tears after she was booed by the audience in Birmingham Yardley.

Beautifully written and performed. A timely reminder of the power of politics as a force for good and the art of principled pragmatism to achieve real transformation.
As Bevan said: โIt must always be changing, growing and improving.โ

The Green Party of England and Wales have now have candidates in all 575 seats in E&W on
@democlub
Due to the convention of not contesting the speakers seat, which the Greens don't follow, they are likely the only party who will contest every seat in E&W.
@hazr198
Explain to me why refusing to endorse a ceasefire is not supporting more killing? The labour party should be being much stronger in criticising the actions of the Israeli government.
We are dismayed to hear that the national Green Party has imposed candidates in at least two constituencies where local parties had voted to stand aside.
The Green Party should be showing what a new politics looks like - not mimicking how the big parties behave.

I was just live in a radio studio when the news broke that Labour have dropped their plans for green investment.
How else can anyone react other than to say:

@carla_denyer
Can we not do this? Endorsing tactical voting will undermine the green vote across the country outside of our national targets? We should be promoting voting green everywhere.
@MrTomGray
Why is having you as their MP, representing and being a mouthpiece for starmer's right wing government, better than a green MP holding that government to account?
Compare and contrast the leadership of the UK & US Green Party.
They are on different planets.
We need to make the English version like the American one. Fast.
