. @CMLewisGeorgeW4 has asked some great clarifying questions. We have heard from @amberwharding and Mat Hanson that raising taxes will not cause wealthy residence to leave DC. It is a MYTH. In fact Black residents are displaced daily because we are not properly funding housing.
