This is just a reminder to people that any time you see me quote averages, my metric is different to the majority. I don't have access to individual dart data, so I can't make 3-dart averages. Instead, mine is an average of all averages. (cont'd)
Only three players have averaged over 90 in every PC game they've played this season.
Harry Ward, who has played 2 games; Matthew Dennant, who has played 1... and Jonny Clayton, who has played 46.
Boris Krcmar's appearance at the GDC means that the only player in the PDC top 64 to have not played in an ET event this season is Mervyn King (35th). Devon Petersen (78th) is next.
Buntz must wonder if we're all mad on this side of the pond. His first four PDC games: a 53 year old with a mohawk, a guy with what you would charitably call a non-conventional throw, a guy who stands 2 miles to the right of the oche, and one who stands two miles to the left.
I'm thrilled to tell you that Zac Griffiths wil be wearing the FEBsData logo for the 2024 Dev Tour season. Zac raised his average almost 5 pts this year, with a PB of 98.56, and I'm looking forward to seeing how he goes next year.

Longest consecutive 90+ average matches to start a PC season by year:
2019 Ian White (37)
2020 Peter Wright (37)
2021 Jonny Clayton (30)
2022 Damon Heta (31)
2023 Jonny Clayton (50, still going)
2 players have played in all 18 years of the WC Last 64. Adrian Lewis isn't here this year, leaving James Wade as the only ever-present. Wade has most L64 wins too, with 15, but Gary Anderson has the highest unbeaten record. He's 14-0.
By my reckoning, here's a list of all the times two players have met 10 or more times in a year. It'll be interesting to check back on this next Jan, I reckon
I've split each of the Top 64's averages for 2023 into equal thirds, then averaged those and worked out a winning percentage for each. You know how they always say the mark of a great player is if they can win with their B and C games...
Fun fact. Here we are almost in August and there's one player who is still unbeaten in the PDC this season.
Hungary's Andras Csoka entered the HNQ for ET11 and won his three games. It's the only event he's entered so far this year, so his record is an unblemished 3-0.
7 top 32 players have recorded their worst PDC senior tour averages this season. It's pretty wild to me that Damon Heta's lowest - in 529 matches - is still over 80.
Player entries have been confirmed for next week's opening Players Championship double-header, as the 2024 PDC ProTour season begins in Wigan.

I actually lost followers with my coverage of Challenge Tour stuff. Undaunted, I'm going to start covering the Development Tour, too.
Was nice knowing you all...
Noa-Lynn van Leuven becomes the first player from the Women's Series to compete in a CT final, where she takes on Tytus Kanik, the 4th Pole to make a CT final. I suspect not many would have picked that at the start of the day.
I'm honestly as thrilled as a kid at Xmas, seeing people who follow me, DM me or just generally interact with this account and are entered into Q-School 2024. Got chills down my spine as I was inputting some data just now. Good luck to all!
Damon Heta (116.12) v James Wade (106.62) is the highest combined average in a PC event game this year, 227.74, beating Chisnall/Burness (combined 221.03) in PC08
Oh my days.
Congrats to
@owenbates180
! I don't know how you did it.
You gotta feel sorry for Hendo, you really do, but it's The Master who grabs the 2nd tour card.
@Berry_vp
@Carlo_180
did you know you were the only person in GSoD history to lose all 3 games but have a higher average than your opponent in all 3? That's something!
PC24 trivia:
-Today is Darren Webster's 300th PC event
-both Szaganski's and Scutt's next game will be their 100th
-Chisnall needs 6 wins to reach 700
-van der Voort still inching towards 5000 legs won. He needs 20.
and now I'm taking a wellness break for a month or so. I'll check in if anyone has any questions they'd like to ask, but don't expect any updates for a while.
