Las Vegas embraced the Knights - their first sports team and a home-grown franchise with an incredible owner. They have not and will never embrace the Raiders, and will never embrace the A’s. It’s not a sports town. The majority of residents are new to the city.

This might be the most telling stat about #Athletics true talent level. To be 58-44 with 19 blown saves means they’re probably a 95-100 win team with a little better luck in the late innings. We’re not catching Houston but we’re probably the third best team in the AL.

For the first time since 1973, the #Athletics have won a winner-take-all playoff game. For the first time since 2006 (my freshman year in high school) the A’s have won a playoff series. Curse lifted. A moment I’ve waited over a decade for. YES! YES! YES!!

It's fine and proper to blame the Giants for blocking Santa Clara, but the A's could have built at the Coliseum 5 years ago, super easy, and instead opted to try to jack Oakland for a massive Fisher development deal. Greed, not the Giants, uprooted the A's.
